You're standing in a crowd on Saturday. You look around and think yeah. No Kings. This is what democracy looks like.

Elections. Term limits. A free press that spent four years calling the president a fascist without one journalist being arrested.
The modern left's definition of fascism:
You love your country? Fascist.
You want to enforce the border? Racist.
You think parents should raise their kids? Bigot.
You want to know who's voting in your elections? Jim Crow.
Being patriotic is fascism to the modern left.
But every country has borders and enforces them. 176 countries require ID to vote. That's the definition of a country.
But the Democratic establishment told you otherwise. And you believed them.
Congress has a 15% approval rating. 80% of Americans disapprove. 97% of incumbents got re-elected.
Chuck Schumer. 46 years. Longer than Stalin.
Steny Hoyer. 45 years. Longer than Mao.
Mitch McConnell. 42 years. 5x more than Napoleon.
Nancy Pelosi. 39 years. Longer than Henry VIII.
Maxine Waters. 35 years. Longer than Mussolini.

Trump. 5 years and 3 months. Won the popular vote and the electoral vote.
But Trump is the king. Okay buddy.
You don't hate kings. You hate kings that aren't yours.
And they have you in the streets carrying their water.
The Democratic Party installed a president without letting you vote. Biden quit on a Sunday. By Tuesday your queen was crowned.
No primary. No debate. No ballot. First time since 1968.
Three days before your march every Senate Democrat voted against photo ID to vote.
During COVID you carried a vaccine card everywhere like a hall pass from the government just to eat at a restaurant.
But getting a birth certificate or waiting two hours at the DMV to prove you're a citizen before you vote? That's oppression.
The Democratic Party is pro illegal immigration.
Counts non-citizens in the Census. Census determines congressional seats. More non-citizens means more seats means more power. No voter ID means no way to check.
That's how you keep power without wearing a crown.
Biden built a censorship machine.
Pressured Facebook to suppress true information and admitted it in writing. Censored scientists. Censored doctors. Censored JOKES. The Biden White House told Facebook to remove "humor and satire."
They literally went after people for making fun of them. UK does it better tho...
Everything they censored turned out to be right. They just outsourced the silencing to Silicon Valley.
And it doesn't stop at speech.
The extreme left justifies taking children from families.
Six thousand schools rewrite children's identities without telling parents. And the State has the right to intervene.
The Hitler Youth did this. Mao's Red Guards did this. The Soviets built statues of a child who reported his own father.
Same playbook.
During Covid, your bakery got shut down. Church closed. You couldn't hold your dying mother's hand at the hospital.
But thousands packed together during BLM to burn Minneapolis and THAT was essential civic engagement. Obviously.
$2 billion in damage. 25 dead. 2,000 cops injured. 20 states burning. VP Kamala promoted a bail fund for the rioters. No investigation. No hearings.
January 6. One building. Few hours. 1,000 prosecuted. Two years of televised hearings.
Kings decide which violence counts. The left decided.
Charlie Kirk spent his life walking onto campuses asking for honest debate. He was assassinated.
CSIS terrorism database. 2025 is the first year in 30 years that left-wing attacks outnumber right-wing. Yet no one brings this up.
75% of liberal students say preventing a speaker from talking is justified. 27% say violence is acceptable.
Liberals who went to Trump rallies: "I never felt unsafe." "The experience changed me." They say.
Conservatives who show up on liberal campuses get screamed at, blocked, and assassinated.
One side talks. The other side screams.
The Party for Socialism and Liberation marched
Their stated purpose in their own words: "Revolution." Not reform. But Marxism.
500 groups. $3 billion in revenue. Pre-printed signs.
The signs were ready before you were even angry.
AND its all coming again .... if the left gain any power.

Okay, let’s make an analogy:
Imagine a bunch of activists vegans take over a McDonalds and replace all the burgers with Impossible Burgers. All the other vegans, of which there are not many, loudly celebrate.
The shareholders who own McDonalds barely care or notice. McDonalds is a golden goose; all it doesn’t make money. On paper, the change makes sense: vegan burgers allow MORE people to spend their money at McDonalds.
Regular people stop buying burgers at McDonalds.
McDonalds closes due to lack of sales.
The vegans can’t figure out why it happened and think it’s because the average burger enjoyer hates them and that that hate comes
from a place of ignorance.
We just don’t want to eat your shitty burgers.

The Canadian Right has to start looking at the situation objectively. We have very few options. We are getting utterly decimated politically right now.
Our birth rate is approaching half the replacement rate. Our liberal cultural mosaic loving government obviously will fill this gap with Indians because there are so many of them.
The dominion society’s solution is to just do mass remigration, including millions who aren’t here illegally. Come on guys. The logistics of this are impossible and you’re never, ever going to get a majority of Canada to support this. I’m fine with the dominion society existing as a force to pull the Overton window right. I even think it’s necessary because we have been fucked by immigration. But come on.
The 51st state is our only play left. It’s also actually realistic. America’s ICE could get to work tracking down the illegal immigrants in Canada too

What nobody will be able to stomach is a country that approaches 40,50,60% South Asian/Nigerian/African/etc. We are absolutely headed to this. We are being oppressed by short sighted panicky immigration policies to bail out the mistakes of past governments.
To be clear, I like most of the immigrants I’ve come across in Canada. I find them generally polite to deal with whenever I do. But clearly many of the immigrants just hang out with their own people. There’s an Indian restaurant by my house. Every time I go in there it’s 100% Indians except for me picking up food. Why is this good? This isn’t making Canadian culture better it’s making it much worse.
And we straight up can’t handle more people mathematically. Housing prices, doctor wait times, classroom size at school, etc.
But our government doesn’t care. Immigration is the fake panacea they’ll
Choose because it creates an illusion that things are happening in Canada. Liberal donors will be happy they get more cheap labour. Boomers will be happy their home values stay inflated.
Im convinced we will never have a national conversation regarding our low birth rate, and how we can fix it. The time for that was decades ago. We chose the easy, short term route. 3rd world immigration. We continue choosing this.
So basically they’re turning Canada into The European Union’s version of New India. The daily experience of the average Canadian is not being considered whatsoever, but they don’t care. And on some level, why should they? People continue voting for it.
The best case scenario is for Canada to become America’s 51st state.
Canada has given up trying to be Canada.

I'm seeing a lot of discourse about who WoW Forever is being made for and while I cannot speak for anyone else on the team I can speak for myself. I am making WoW forever for the classic gamer and for the millions of people who have had their accounts lapse over the years because they were not satisfied with changes that were made to the game. Whether those changes were to the art style, the story, social aspects, game design, or changes to their favorite class.
I did not spend the last year of my life relearning and mastering how to do things like we did it 20+ years ago for retail players. I could have taken it easy and just kept doing things like I had done for the past 8 years on retail...because I was much more familiar with it and it actually takes a lot less time to do (height maps on textures do a ton of heavy lifting). Because the reality is that the majority of retail players wouldn't care and would probably actually prefer it. But I felt I had a duty to uphold an artistic vision and integrity that millions of people expect from us. But not just for our players, but for my co-workers past and present who worked on it over 20 years ago. If I could not create something that resembled their work then I failed not only them...but myself.
Please do not take this as me throwing any shade at retail players or the retail team because I am one myself...but I wanted to make Forever as authentic of a Vanilla experience as possible. This involves making decisions wildly different than retail. It means holding the line against changes that create a domino affect down the road. It means keeping friction and inconveniences in the game. It means finding friends and forming groups with strangers and being social!! Because WoWs social aspects have always been the pillar of the game and over the years it has slowly been chiseled away at with changes that allow you play alone.
Since the day I started working on the Riverglades I have lived by three sayings.
"Convenience is the death of the journey."
"If you're making a game for everyone then you're making it for no one."
"Every change we make incurs a debt to the authenticity of the game and sooner or later that debt will be paid."
These are my core beliefs and I had a specific group of people I was targeting with my work. These beliefs cannot be shaken and I will try to hold the line against anything that goes against them and will continue to pester the team about things that feel out of place.
That being said, my hope is that Forever will pull in as many people as possible, whether you are a retail gamer, a classic gamer, someone who hasn't played in years, or even a new player. I hope you can all remember what made this game so special in the first place and that starts with understanding why we are so passionate about keeping it authentic.
