@Keir_Starmer @wesstreeting my sister is having chemotherapy at present ; the unit has only 2 Cold Cap machines left that support women keeping their hair ; patients deserve better , the staff claim there is no money to buy more - they cost £16k . #breastcancercare

The probation service affects everyone and if it isn't stable and functioning then public protection is put at risk. Probation staff deserve a pay rise #RespectProbationPayProbation
The government wants you to focus on prisons and policing. But it’s probation staff who are managing high-risk offenders in your community. Now they’re voting on whether to strike and who can blame them #respectprobation #Napo #PayProbation

You cannot fix the Prison crisis if probation is broken. Probation is an effective alternative to custody but it is broken!
#probation staff are committed to keeping communities safe, but excessive workloads & staff shortages make it hard to supervise everyone under our care. Your support in urging the government to address these issues is crucial for public safety. Help here buff.ly/3UWdkbg

Specialist stalking support has the power to significantly improve a victim’s journey through the criminal justice system. Professionals across all agencies must #JoinForcesAgainstStalking and actively refer victims to these specialised services upon disclosure. #NSAW2024

The Alice Ruggles Trust recognises the vital role education environments have in supporting students to recognise, respond, and report stalking. This is why the charity has commissioned a new lesson for KS3 students in response to requests for support for younger students.

Probation officers are genuinely worried that they can't keep the public safe because they are having to rush the release of violent offenders. What is the Tories' plan to support probation?

And so far no idea of numbers. Everyone talks about prisons at capacity but no one is asking what the capacity of probation is.

The Early Release Scheme relies on a healthy and functioning probation service, not one that is overstretched and under-resourced. Therefore, I have serious concerns how it is going to cope with this increased case load and ensure there is no risk to the victims and the public.

This little handmade card popped under the education kitchen door of one of the prisons we are working with this week. A thank you to our Food Educator from a prisoner who had taken part in our cooking course. Feedback like this makes it all worthwhile ❤️
