Should the Heat look at Walter Clayton Jr. or Kevin Porter Jr. (or anyone else)?

I wrote last month about just not knowing what Miami would be and the uncertainty. After preseason, I've bumped them up to 49 wins.
I don't love the process of @EthanJSkolnick's reference on ancient history, but he's been right about the results, the Heat have a superstar and are going for it.
I worry about them gassing out with this pace, but they're going to murder the first three months.

Even in preseason, any time Myron Gardner is let loose, heβs such a pain in the you know what to face.

The Heat's over-under remains around 45.5 at most sports books.
Even with the strength of the East, the over is looking like a good play.
Miami's style will give a lot of teams trouble early in the season.

So Giannis Antetokounmpo dropped 18 points in the first half last night
But thatβs not why it mattered
It mattered because of the coverages he saw compared to game 1
Quick thread on the shift:

Theyβre not all the way jelled. Itβs the second preseason game.
But watching the Miami Heatβs defense for a full 48 is going to be so much fun.
Mathurin got the basket off the tip here, but look at 1.) when NOPβs starting its offense 2.) how difficult it was to get a good look.

Beware of where Myron Gardnerβs at all times lol

This sequence probably isnβt the best example.
But I think the Miami Heatβs stifling half-court defense is gonna force teams into less-than-ideal shots in early-clock situations, further fueling their pace.
And thatβs going to be a nightmare for opponents w/ Giannis/Davion/etc.

Itβs been two games heβs played. Itβs been months since they made the trade. But I swear to god there are still some days I have to pinch myself to remember that Giannis plays for the Miami Heat.
This still does not feel like real life.

Myron shot 40.4 percent from deep (26-64) LY, but he shot 37.5 percent from distance over his final two G-League seasons on nearly four attempts per game.
I think heβll be around 37-38 percent this year, which is big with his energy/defense. Heβll have plenty of open looks.
