@aboabout_org and @shikemore talking about the benefits of having an agency act as the "Homeless Housing Authority" and administers rental assistance systemwide so that social services agencies can focus on delivering quality housing stabilization support.

Perhaps a quibble with the headline. But no argument with the reporting.

The killing of Jordan Neely is the result of the dehumanization of people experiencing homelessness and mental health issues. Criminalization policies that turn the general public into street level judge, jury, and executioner have tragic consequences.

Felt like I should share my speech I gave at the 2022 Kente graduation ceremony in December. It was a beautiful moment to have the opportunity to speak and fully put into perspective how much of an accomplishment graduating was for me.

There are people who are actively willing to advocate for me. As well as make sure my story gets told fully, not just using my face and headline to tell half truths. If you have time today please read and share. Thank you again Lauren❤️

It is why want to share today’s op-ed by @el_manels who took the time to write about the true magnitude of what I’m facing as well as to write about who I am as a person. Tho Im not in a position to truly advocate for myself, it is heartwarming to know and see that…

Being in this state of limbo for the past 2 1/2 years of my life have left me feeling completely and utterly silenced. My name and character have constantly been called into questioned and have been put on trial. I even questioned myself yet still knew my character at heart.
