They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

If your Cubs have completed the “Fire Safety” badge in the last year & one of your young people has used the information & skills they learnt to do something amazing to help others then we want to know about it. Contact [email protected] with your story - Please RT
Yesterday we had Scouts take part in the Exeter Monopoly Run, joined with a few friends from 1st Cranbrook.
It was a hot day but a fun event.
We finished 9th out of the 25 teams, visiting 28 of the 39 properties!
Well done to those that took part.

The Scouts are watching @GangShowExeter tonight.
Wishing #BreakALeg to all of the 6th Leaders, Young Leaders and Scout involved.
Scouting has welcomed girls into our sections for many years and has had female leaders for much longer.
So for International Women's Day we would like to take the opportunity to formally recognise the female members of the group.

To all of our female leaders running our Squirrel, Beaver and Cub sections, the female Trustees supporting the running of the group & fundraising events and to all of the young girls in each of our sections (Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts).

Thank you for everything you do. You are all amazing, and the Scout Group would be lost without you.

Recognising all of the amazing work she has put in to @6thExeterScouts and beyond.
Not just with the Beavers, but also supporting the Scouts and other sections.
As well all of the fundraising which helped raise £2,500 in 2023!

Thank you @BearGrylls for all you have done for Scouting
#ThankYouDay
Over 15 fantastic years as Chief Scout, @BearGrylls has inspired over two million young people from every background to join Scouts. Carl Hankinson, UK Chief Volunteer, says thank you to Bear for all he has achieved. Follow the link to read more: bit.ly/4eG7Fy9
Couldn't agree more
Scouting would not be possible without volunteers giving up their time to work with our Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs & Scouts to develop new skills & take part in new adventures
It also would not be possible without support from the parents
Thank you
#ThankYouDay
This #ThankYouDay we’d like to say cheers to our volunteers – you support Scouts so brilliantly in communities across the UK. And it wouldn’t happen without you.

Needless to say, it is very rewarding to see those young people grow. So if anyone thinks they could lend a hand and offer some time themselves to help out, then please get in touch.
