Listen, we all have to wash our hands in a public bathroom, but when a guy goes too hard at it, it makes me think he must have actually gotten poop all over his hands
I’m looking at the replies and the Quotes and I don’t think there’s one that’s over the target. The target gets grazed a bit, but never hit square on
The first two are the “no theory of mind for conservatives” lib bias-confirming suppositions that just completely swing and miss at the “PMC but not progressive Lived Experience”. The third is more reasonable- why don’t you just move somewhere with fewer progressives??- though I don’t think the decision to do that comes down to having the “courage”. Sometimes you have ties to a liberal place through family and maybe a job you genuinely like. A lot of us understand that we have to co-exist with progressives even though they drive us nuts
in other words, I don’t think CAP either “viscerally loathes” or “wants the approval” of urban progressives. I can’t speak for him, but I imagine he, like a lot of non-progressives in predominantly Liberal areas, would just like to feel less outnumbered and more ‘on the same page’ with a greater number of people
