Why do you make this sound like the fault of independent schools? By all means improve the standards in state schools, but the fact that they allegedly fell behind is your fault, Secretary of State.

Labour are currently losing lots of votes to Plaid. Perhaps they should attack their stance on illegal migration as well? Here’s a senior Plaid politician saying Labour have been TOO TOUGH securing our borders. Hopefully Morgan McSweeney is reading this. Whatever you think of Labour, Plaid are worse.
Plaid Cymru Senedd member @Sioned_W attacks both the Conservatives AND Labour for being too tough on illegal migration. She claims it undermines attempts to make Wales a Nation of Sanctuary, in which asylum seekers' rights to access public services should be "expanded not limited". So irresponsible. The cost to Welsh taxpayers will be considerable.
As we said, Plaid are even worse on this than Labour.
