Two days ago, I drove nine hours to vote in Florida. On the way, I stopped to eat at a restaurant in Valdosta, Georgia. When I went to pay, I noticed a note taped next to the register: all checks required two phone numbers and a driver’s license number. That small detail stuck with me. I believe the reason we lost the midterms is that millions of illegal immigrants who are still in the country were able to vote without showing ID. Even Maye Musk posted that when she voted in New York, no one asked for her ID. In many blue states, voter ID simply isn’t required. Meanwhile, Trump held 30 packed rallies, and millions of us showed up to vote. This wasn’t about gas prices or foreign wars. It was the direct result of the Biden administration’s policies that allowed millions of illegal immigrants into the country. In Florida, they asked for my ID, inserted my driver’s license into the machine, and checked the signature. Guess what? Florida stayed solidly red. Florida won!
