“President Nelson cautioned that the “messages [of the adversary] tend to be loud, bold, and boastful,” while Heavenly Father communicates “simply, quietly, and with such stunning plainness that we cannot misunderstand.” Christ modelled this perfectly for us.
The fifth principle then is to stay anchored in Jesus Christ. Ask yourself if you carry these Christlike attributes when you are striving to stand for truth with love: “And charity suffereth long, and is kind, and envieth not, and is not puffed up, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, and rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in … truth.””
Clark G. Gilbert Oct 2026 GC

“I didn’t get to go on my mission out of high school because I signed to play baseball instead, so I think it’s cool that I get to serve in other ways. This is a different type of mission.”

The Book of Mormon is a conduit of The Holy Spirit
The Book of Mormon is a great witness that the Lord loves all people and reaches out to all, everywhere.
The Book of Mormon adds to our knowledge of how our Savior’s earthly ministry reached out to all of His scattered flock.
Book of Mormon teachings contradict the erroneous assertion that the grace of God saves only a chosen few.
The Book of Mormon teaches that our Savior "inviteth ... all to come unto him" (2 Nephi 26:33). His grace is for all.
Similarly, the Book of Mormon tells us that the children of God in “every nation” have His promise that He “manifesteth himself unto all those who believe in him, by the power of the Holy Ghost” (2 Nephi 26:13).
These promises from the Book of Mormon are true.
I call upon all to act on these truths and to share them with others, that we may all draw closer to Jesus Christ, our Savior.
“It is what we do; Isn’t it?”

What is “it”?
And what keeps us from doing it?

2 Nephi 11:5 And also my soul delighteth in the covenants of the Lord which he hath made to our fathers; yea, my soul delighteth in his grace, and in his justice, and power, and mercy in the great and eternal plan of deliverance from death.
Can you believe the respect?! It’s been a long-time coming!

President Dallin H. Oaks of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints welcomed religious leaders from around the world to Salt Lake City on Thursday, praising efforts to build peace and understanding while respecting differences in belief.
“People of goodwill, compassion, and a desire to understand and help one another — without demanding a compromise of distinctive commitments — are at the core of peacemaking,” he said during the opening ceremony of the G20 Interfaith Forum in the Salt Lake Tabernacle.
