Been following KD since his OKC days and watching him play in person for the first time was surreal.

Durant: "Your first points in the league is a very, very special thing and something they probably won't ever forget, his family won't ever forget. So small gesture, having the ball and something to remember that this day by is pretty cool."

14-year NBA veteran CJ McCollum when I ask if these Houston Rockets (now 5-0) look different: "They're more poised. Battle tested. Obviously Freddy (VanVleet) is back, so he kind of keeps them under control. They play through Şengün a lot. Obviously, Seven (Kevin Durant) is still really good. You have to double him. You're basically in rotations the whole game and their guys are getting more comfortable making plays on the second side. Whether that's finishing, shooting threes.
"Everybody kind of know their roles and I think that always helps. There's really good clarity on their team as to who they play through. And who needs to touch the ball.
"And I think the pecking order has been established and they all fall in line."
