Got into the Overwatch2 beta. So much work has gone into this. Sound design, character rigs and models, less contrasted high resolution textures placed in a new engine. It's so clean. I play a support main and I am loving being more active in the 5v5 setups. WD ow team!

A santa hat? A festive melody? Is it christmas yet? huh?

HOLY SMOKES. I've had my head down and forgot to keep posting. Haha. This is the kitchen, rooster can live inside and out. While computer jumps from screen to screen to give helpful tips. One could argue that paper clip is better.

Changed up the walk cycle. It pauses at a different place and speed ramps a bit. I've also compared it against the original. This is at 90bpm and it feels really nice.

Testing walk cycles being driven by music. Feel like this is too slow and should be double the speed but the music is at a solid bpm. I might need to trigger a more then just a step and do a full step. NEXT TEST!

Rhythm is at the heart of 7bit Hero. Here is a test syncing up small animations with anticipation and overshoot to see if it feels connected. Maybe I ditch aniticipation?

A lot of peeps don't know that I'm trying to bring together this concept that music, games and content can all live together and hug. I have some test later this week that show how rhythm controls this world & create an almost stop motion vibe to the whole piece. Hope it works!
