FLAMINGOS IN THE BATHROOM! 🦩
ZooWorld in Panama City Beach was providing them shelter during #Isaias. I'm glad they did, wind gusts reached over 80+ mph in their area. Something similar occurred during Hurricane Andrew back in 1992 with sheltering flamingos in the bathroom too!

My hometown and my community of Brewton, Alabama has taken a direct, hard hit from Hurricane Isaias.
Hundreds, if not thousands, of trees down with numerous power poles down. We can’t really get out very far.
PRAY for south Alabama and northwest Florida.

Please help! The #Dominator F150 is stuck in a flood road near Olmitz, Kansas 500 yard south of Highway 4. Anyone with truck and tow strap could use a tug

(Finally) Sharing this now because I'm excited. My contribution to the GTA VI launch will be "Grand Chef Auto".
This is 100% the next book I want to work on because of the culinary opportunities available in a modern Vice City. Cuba, South American, Deep South, and Caribbean Cuisine all hit hard here.
I also see this as a way to collab with other Chefs who may not be able to whip up their own cookbooks, and I want to make sure many of them are seen. There are recipes, menus, and dishes all over the game, just like in Los Santos; you just need the eye to see them. (Seriously, even the strip clubs have menus)
So if you wanna know one of 3 things I'm doing in my free time, this is one of them.

So happy to see Destiny return, but deeply saddened for my incredible former colleagues who were laid off before the studio had a chance to course correct. They deserved better, and I can’t help but wonder what the future holds without so many of those who built what came before.

Either people are getting dumber or the dumb people are getting louder. I think it's the latter. I'm genuinely convinced that this is genetic. Like a certain mutation that makes some ppl very impressionable and easily sucked into cults. Idk what else it could be

BOLT FROM THE BLUE!⚡️Caught on camera this week in the Tampa Bay area. Classic example of how lightning can strike 10 to even 25 miles away from a parent thunderstorm. 6 people have died in Florida from lightning strikes so far this year. When thunder roars, go indoors! This is the first tornado watch EVER in Hawaii!
BREAKING: For the FIRST TIME ever, a TORNADO WATCH has been issued in Hawaii! This includes Kauai, Niihau and surrounding coastal waters.
Conditions are favorable for a few tornadoes to form in the rain bands associated with Hurricane Lowell. Some of these circulations may move onshore as tornadoes, causing damage.
This is the first time a tornado watch has ever been issued for the Aloha State. A *watch* means conditions are favorable. A *warning* will be issued on a more targeted, local level if rotation is detected in a cell approaching one of the islands.
For the Contiguous United States, the Storm Prediction Center, headquartered in Norman, Oklahoma, issues all convective (severe thunderstorm/tornado) watches. Outside the Lower 48, it's up to local offices. Tornado watches will probably never be issued in Alaska or Puerto Rico or Guam; this is an absolute first for the agency.
In fact, it's so unusual that the automated National Weather Service social media accounts weren't "wired up" to tweet the tornado watch; presumably, it's encoded slightly differently.
Tropical cyclones often produce tornadoes because they're large sources of shear, or changing winds with height. That's especally true on the right side of hurricanes. Low-level warm, moist air spiral *into* the hurricane chafes against high-altitude "exhaust," or outflow air, fanning away from the hurricane. Storm cells that grow tall enough to feel those changing winds rotate, and can produce tornadoes and tornadic waterspouts.
Stay weather aware!

Watch Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look. Now on @netflix: netflix.com/GTAVI

ALT Grand Theft Auto 6 art featuring Jason and Lucia wearing bandanas to cover the lower half of their faces, armed with handguns. In the background, a vehicle with an open passenger door is parked at a gas station against a pink and purple sky. Under the Grand Theft Auto 6 logo, text reads: An Extended Look. Netflix.
