The meteorologists at @NWStulsa are some of the absolute best in the country, without question. We are so fortunate to have them serving our community. They saved many lives last night.
While a supercell in an @NWSSPC "high risk" area... Barnsdall, OK had 44 min. lead time from their 1st #tornado warning (8:56p) to when the tornado hit (~9:40p, per SPC log). Confirmed by radar 23 min. before it hit. Life-saving @NWSTulsa warnings. #okwx (Loops: NCAR/RAL)

Yes, we really need a vendor webinar to talk about Wi-Fi 7, because there are so many relevant details folks can share today that aren’t complete guesses or just product marketing. #Sarcasm

I did a podcast recently where I expressed a similar sentiment regarding the question of whether, "Is this the story the Osages would have told? Probably not". But this movie has definitely raised the bar for movie making with Indigenous themes.
At the film’s premiere, Osage language consultant Christopher Cote shares his complicated feelings about #KillersOfTheFlowerMoon

How many "races" have treaties with the United States? None. The U.S. recognizes only three sovereigns: Foreign countries, the member states and Indian tribes. Source: The U.S. Constitution.

REPOST FROM MAY 20, 2023: As we come down to the last few weeks before the movie opens worldwide, my reaction toward Killers of the Flower Moon hasn't changed.
I was fortunate enough to get a private screening of the film, Killers of the Flower Moon earlier this month. Having been marginally released from my NDA with the premiere of the film today at Cannes, I have a few thoughts.

if you're going to the lake to be a miscreant-sunburned-hooligan and do miscreant-sunburned-hooligan things this weekend, THE LEAST you can do is take your miscreant-sunburned-hooligan trash with you when you go home.
