Extremely respectful and indicative of how Remembrance Sunday has been transformed, for the news programmes and military themselves to spend the day demanding we further ramp up the rhetoric and spending against Russia, with no opposing voices.
Deleted the Roisin Murphy quote tweet, not that I don't stand by everything I said especially in reply to her, but I can't be dealing with the thickest of thick TERFs and hangers-on, it's just not worth the hassle of even mocking them
Pointless denying that some on the left didn't indulge Russell Brand during that part of his particular grift, or that it wasn't always apparent he was a completely vacuous wanker, we just didn't know his sideline in sexual assault. He should always have been seen through.

One of the excerpts from my speech at the German Bundestag on November 4, 2026:
NATO membership aspiration has been introduced into Ukraine’s constitution after 2014 annexation of Crimea and the beginning of the war in Donbas. It has been presented to the public as a near-sacred idea that would serve as a shield and protection for Ukraine. But many years later, after hundreds of thousands lives lost, millions of refugees and the devastated country, it is time to tell the truth: the idea of NATO membership for Ukraine is dead. The alliance was created to provide security, deter invasion and in this way avoid war. In Ukraine instead it became one of the main reasons for the war. People in Ukraine cannot keep dying today for the hypothetical idea of entering NATO sometime in the future. An idea that is being refuted almost daily by NATO’s biggest members themselves.

I won’t claim great powers of foresight and insight here, but my view was always “annoying, prancing tit” and I don’t recall forking over cash for anything the guy was in, so I don’t feel included in “we”.
The clickbait headlines of a man convicted by a jury of his peers of rape and sexual assault, who couldn't find a single person other than his wife to give evidence on his behalf and whose barrister's attempts to defend him were an utter disgrace
If you are genuinely curious and want to think beyond the click-bait headlines ( I realise that will be a stretch for some of you) feel free to read what I wrote 3 years ago.

So now we can say the thing that we couldn't say before: that Russell Brand's barrister's arguments on his client's behalf were utterly disgraceful and seemed rooted in the misogynistic past
Gosh Eylon, did you really think that those adjacent to Nazis were always going to protect you in spite of you supposedly fighting alongside when Israeli obsessions have repeatedly cost America dear? Your usefulness was always eventually going to come to an end.
It is absolutely demented that one of the reasons Republicans believe they lost the election is because voters wanted “change our relationship to Israel.”
Not because that might not be true, but because America’s strategic partnership with a loyal democratic ally like Israel should not be a subject of political obsession. Especially not when it is the only ally fighting wing to wing with American forces.
We are not the cause of any of your problems. It is impossible to separate any of this from the multi billion dollar disinformation war waged by adversaries of the West to separate America from its ally—and from a history of scapegoating.
Nothing about this present psychotic moment makes sense outside those two contexts.
Strange how not included in the clip was what the actual question(s) were, which were along the lines of when did you stop being a jihadist, which strangely he didn't feel were worth responding to!
A timely reminder of three things:
1) pursuing the right to report - kudos @jamesmatthewsky (and perhaps not something they’re used to over the pond)
2) attempts to control independent media come from all sides
3) Courtesy goes a long way…
Things that would outrage Western audiences if say the BBC ever reported on them - "forced mobilisation", aka press ganging in Ukraine, and the widespread looting/Israeli soldiers dressing in women's underwear in Gaza.

Tortured deserters and beaten children in a secret Azov facility. Intestines dripping onto mattresses, nationalist thugs, hundreds of civilians destroying police cars, throwing eggs and spitting at Azov war heroes.
As usual, it’s all the Russians’ fault. Or is it?
I collected all videos and statements on what happened here, along with analysis of the competing theories of what happened. It doesn't look good for those Ukrainians and western 'analysts' with such high estimates of Russian psyop capabilities.

Would probably take a few whole newspapers to document the cases of rape and other grave crimes Japanese military personnel committed in China though
Sucking dick causes cancer, that's part of why we're banning it in porn, says actual legislator, if you wondering how cretinous and disingenuous our members of parliament are getting about how just pornographic material containing "deep throating" might now be illegal

The only foreign journalist, as he claims, at the scene of secret military prison riots outside Kyiv yesterday was not even from a foreign media outlet, but Kyiv Independent.
The coverage of the Russo-Ukrainian war for Western audiences has blind zones so wide, it hardly matches reality.
