@fordnation lasted in the Legislature for about a half hour and now has cut and run. Get used to it. It’s his go to.

"Can you explain why this member is getting a promotion after he ripped off the people of this province?" On the first day of the fall sitting, Premier Ford dodges questions about why Stan Cho, who resigned from cabinet this summer after charging taxpayers for local hotel stays, has been promoted to an education role with a $22K pay bump.

Ford’s responses to serious issues are juvenile and unacceptable for a Premier.
“We have a bunch of bad apples and they’re going to jail.” Premier Doug Ford argues bad actors — not his government — are to blame for exploiting the OSAP system, as Liberals call for the resignation of his Colleges Minister Nolan Quinn.

Ford is unbelievable. He refused to meet in TBay with fire evacuees this summer. He neglected to respect First Nations’ chiefs by ignoring the need to meet with them over the mishandling of the fires. A total disgrace!
Question Period: The NDP asks about the 21-week break and whether he's forgotten the people you promised to fight for. Ford: I was at 500 meetings, tens of thousands of kms to spread the message about investing in Ontario. #onpoli

Both the Federal government and Career Colleges Ontario, warned the Ford government that some private career colleges were abusing OSAP. But Ford shoveled almost a billion dollars to the suspect career colleges last year—the same ones whose Directors and Executives donated a $150,000 to the Ford Conservatives. The @OntarioNDP has asked for Ford's Minister of Colleges and Universities to resign. #ONpoli #OntEd theglobeandmail.com/canada/t…

Ford trying to pretend he knew nothing about the “bad apples” is pathetic.

Democracy relies on the goodwill of candidates to put their names forward. All candidates in the municipal election need 👏👏👏👏👏.
If you listened to Councillor Bradford last night, he was gracious, honourable, generous and genuine. We have to thank him for his service, his dedication and his wanting Toronto to be a better city. Thank you Brad. @BradMBradford

Ford’s attempt to scapegoat students for his govts misuse of OSAP money is biting him in the behind. Shame on @fordnation.

The way Ford responded this morning to such serious allegations suggests he will not do as he said and have a proper investigation. Ford was too glib and dismissive about such a serious criminal issue.
Premier Doug Ford says a "couple of bad apples" in the private career college system led to "innocent people" being denied their OSAP payments from the Ontario government. Ford says a "bunch of fraudsters" took advantage of the system and will be "going to jail." The OPP has yet to confirm they've opened an investigation into the file. The government's KPMG audit, Ford says, continues.

Ford dismisses serious, criminal accusations in the House this morning. Why won’t he removed the Minister of University and Colleges for the criminal activities re the OSAP scandal? Ford tries to laugh it off.

Ford has completely lost touch with the needs of Ontarians. His supposed fiscal management is an absolute failure.

Doug Ford is already “losing it” day 1 in the legislature. Keep demanding and expecting accountability.

Ford’s comments this to the opposition suggest they replace the institution of parliament with his cell phone constitutes Pro-forma tangential inferior commentary with respect to his duties in the House. This is a breach of duty on the Premier’s part. Hold him accountable!

Opposition holding Doug Ford to account for his demeaning, dismissive & unparliamentary comments referring to the Opposition request to recall the legislature as “gutter politics.” Keep holding Ford accountable!👏👏👏👏👏🥰

Nine years ago today, I was crisscrossing Israel with my family. So much beauty. So much sorrow. As history unfolds again, I find myself thinking about what we owe one another. The courage to speak. The grace to listen. The hope of coexistence.

Misogyny Shameful
When you're a progressive, racialized, senior woman, you can win by 10+ points and win the most votes in Canadian history and they'll still write a headline undercutting your political vision and the size of your victory.

The work continues Mayor Chow. I'm an ER doctor and I'm reporting there are no shelter beds for the homeless patients who come to the ER primarily needing shelter. Let's get to work on this Mayor, I know we can improve things. @oliviachow

Facts speak loudly.
Another stat for the nerds: 563,124 votes were cast in total in Toronto's last regular mayoral election in 2022 (ie. not a by-election). 532,201 votes were cast for Olivia Chow alone in 2026.
