Why are people in the replies unironically pretending this wouldnโt be seen as controversial if the roles were reversed?
Imagine Democrats obstructing voters (as Bolsonaro loyalists seem to have done), then Trump, while trailing, asking his former lawyer on the Supreme Court to extend voting hours, which he then does unilaterally.
Even with legitimate reasons, and even if Kamala also requested an extension, people would question it. The hypocrisy goes both ways, though, as right-wingers would likely defend what theyโre now criticising.
Not that I know much about Brazilian politics but imagine if Trump appointed his former personal lawyer to the US Supreme Court and that same judge then extended voting by two hours on election day lol
Would actually be perfect timing for Messi too since the MLS only has a short season from February to May next year before switching to the European calendar
Turns out bashing referees at press conferences, making comps and threatening them eventually gets into their heads
