Watch this brilliant lecture by @bryomedina on moss evolution @SystAssn
Mosses may appear simple but can be evolutionary sophisticated. Research over the last 5-10 years has completely altered how we look at #bryophytes...and it's exciting!
With a special look at Funariaceae.
If you couldn't join us last Friday, or just want to relive @bryomedina's amazing 'mossy' Founders' Lecture, the recording is now available in our Youtube channel! youtube.com/watch?v=vPLXpz1b…

A little late with my reply but I was digging out a photo! My favourite is the insect wall.
The detailed plant models made from wax are also pretty amazing. #AskaCurator

I have to admit to a weakness for houseplants! 🌿☘️🍀
They've proliferated a bit during lockdown. 😊
My favourite? 🤔 How can I choose one? I guess I have soft spot for the first plant I got when I was 10, a Money Plant.
Bingo!
I got a full house this time for #NatureOnYourDoorstep #PhotoBingo. 😎
Managed to find a curly Bracken frond, and the Alder leaves are a bit shiny. An obliging snail carrying his home on his back made an appearance this morning. 😁🐌

It’s time for a challenge! On our 2nd week of #NatureOnYourDoorstep #PhotoBingo can you find things in nature inspired by these words?
You'll need some creative thinking! Share an image montage of your finds (please leave things as you found them) once you have captured them all
Here's my #NatureOnYourDoorstep montage for the first week of @AmgueddfaCymru #PhotoBingo.
I didn't quite get a full house but I am pleased with my combined slug and snail photo. 😌🐌
Looking back at my photos of @Museum_Cardiff through the seasons.
It's such a beautiful Portland stone building to arrive at for a days work!

Needed these cheerful daffodils for my workspace today.

An inspired way to fund a Leaf cutter Ant House - ask people to name the ants! I quite like Micro Penny 🍃🐜 and George Henry Leaf. 🍃🐜
From a visit to the wonderful @World_Museum in 2018. #museumsunlocked
The most amazing taxidermy I've ever seen is @GalleryOldham
Go and see it...right now!
