Every raw material now has its refined twin, and each pair got its own icon this week.
Ore to ingot, wood to plank, hide to leather, fibre to cloth, stone to block. Eight tiers of each, forty pairs.
The icons are in the game now. Which tier eight would you go after first: voidiron, eldertree, wyrm leather, ghostsilk or whinstone?
Making gear, part 3: the mint.
Hover a piece to see who made it. If it was minted, it has a serial number and lives in its owner's Solana wallet. Nobody can take it back, us included.
Tooltip's built. Minting isn't live yet.
Would you carry someone else's name on your sword?
Coming soon, a dungeon crawl under the island.
You bring your own cat, your own weapon and your own cards. Clear it and the stair opens to the next one.
Three stages so far: the sewer, the catacombs and the frozen vault. This is a walk through all three.
Not switched on yet. What do you thinks waiting at the bottom?
The other half of a build is spells, and spells are cards.
Hold to open, tap to turn. Sometimes a card dies on the table and comes back a rarity higher. This one came back legendary.

Best thing you ever pulled from a pack?
This is the island we're building toward. 139 zones.
Green is calm, yellow is wild, red is deep, purple is the rim. Six main towns and ten market towns.
The zones aren't switched on yet. Where would you set up camp?
When your cat goes down the fight carries on without you, and you're straight into the next one.
Three lives a run.
Making gear, part 2: the anvil.
Same Flame Blade, struck twice. The first came out at item power 115, the second at 103. Every strike rolls, and your smithing level raises the floor.
Your name is stamped on it for good.
Should we keep trying out luck?
Pit cats used to fight with one stand-in move for every weapon. Now they use the same swings as the open world.
Small fix from this week's playtest. With four cats in the Pit you couldn't tell who yours was actually hitting.
Now there's a line from your ring to brackets round the target's feet.
Before, then after. Clear enough, or does it need more?
Making gear, part 1: the smelter.
Three copper ore, three taps, one ingot. No timer to sit and watch. I wanted crafting to feel like hitting something.
After the weapon, the door deals cards. Three at a time, one pick for each gear slot, and every card rolls its own rarity and numbers.
First deal of this run: Spit, Boulder Fist or Stormfront.
Poison, one huge punch, or a storm. Which do you take?
The Pit's door deals you three weapons and you keep one for the whole run.
Daggers: three quick cuts, close in.
Claws: five fast swipes at the shortest reach of all.
Sword: three wide swings that hit everything in front of you.
Which one are you taking?
The Pit update is live.
The door deals you three weapons. Keep one, draft a card for every gear slot, and walk in with three lives.
Four cats to a fight. Last one standing takes the win.
