Yesterday, a transport truck carrying a full-size trailer was clocked travelling 104 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone on Westbrook Road — that’s 44 km/h over the speed limit!
Our Traffic Safety Unit safely stopped the vehicle and charged the driver with Stunt Driving.
The consequences?
✔️ Driver’s licence suspended
✔️ Court date and fines
✔️ Tractor unit impounded and towed
Big trucks come with big responsibilities. Speeding puts everyone on the road at risk.
No matter what you drive, slow down, obey the speed limit, and get there safely. One reckless decision can have serious consequences.
