Wonderful to have the opportunity to present the exciting findings of the Avenue trial at EHA! 3 year OS 100% and PFS 91% with a sequential approach to upfront PD-L1 inhibition and RATHL approach in untreated advanced classic Hodgkin lymphoma
Many congratulations to @ABarrettHaem for delivering a fantastic presentation in the final data of the Avenue trial - avelumab prior to a RATHL approach in Hodgkin. #EHA2026

Thrilled for my CRTH mentor Raul, richly deserved!
I am honored to receive the EHA Education & Mentorship Award 2026. It means so much to me, and I am deeply grateful for this recognition. This achievement would not have been possible without all the CRTH scholars. This award belongs to all of them as much as it does to me. 🙏

This week, our Clinical Research Training in Hematology (CRTH) program kicked off its first workshop of 2026 in Madrid, bringing together 20 early-career hematologists who are ready to challenge assumptions, refine their research questions, and build the foundations of impactful clinical trials. From project presentations to discussions on research design, ethics, patient involvement, and clinician–statistician collaboration, these sessions have reinforced how much we gain when we learn, question, and support each other. When we approach challenges together, we accelerate progress for patients everywhere - a testament to what coordinated, thoughtful training can achieve through shared purpose.
