As a bit of a rest from the repousse, I finished the blunt Messer from my prototype batch. From the sharp, both the Messer and the longsword remains to be done still.
Overall lengths between 1010 and 1050 mm.
Take your bets how many attempts will it take me to do the design justice in metal. I'm thinking 3-4.

Progress on the front of the mouth of the scabbard. It'll be a long while. We'll see if I can clean up the face - I'll need to make some new, extremely small tools and probably wear magnifying glasses.
