GUNS UP 3 BALL X 14!!!🏀🔥🔥

Congratulations to Indiana! 🏈

I have added 20 Texas Tech yearbooks to my collection including a 1926 (small blue one in the photos)-first year of yearbooks. Purchased 13 at the Friends of the Library book sale/$4 each today. Typically when I find yearbooks in the wild they run $25-50 each. I had a good day.

I love the @TexasTechLib! I still enjoy going old school and checking out books. Some books aren’t meant to be read via your Kindle, especially a book from 1941 titled “College and Life”. Can’t wait to see what it says about college and life.

On this date back in 1995, I did a thing. Hard to believe it was that long ago. Feels just like yesterday. My journey was just beginning then & who knew these many years later I would be helping students realize their dream of graduating from TTU! @TTUAlumniAssoc

March 5-7: 2025 NACADA Region 3/7 Conference in Memphis. Met so many great advisors across Regions 3 and 7. Great conversations and loads of fun! Completed bucket list…Graceland! ❤️being part of the planning committee as Keynote Speaker Coordinator too! Until next time! #TCB

As part of the 2025 NACADA Region 3 & 7 Conference Committee, I am so excited to get to Memphis next month to see all my advising peeps. If you are attending the conference, stop by my session, “Comeback Special: Rockin’ Student Transitions to Success”.

Happy 1st day of school Red Raiders! I am excited about this semester! I’m taking EDHE 5310-Advising and Student Support as part of the Student Devlopment and Acadenic Advisement Certificate program here @TTUEducation. Have a great first day!

That’s a wrap on Fall 2024 commencement! Congratulations to all the graduates in the Huckabee College of Architecture! This is best part of my job as an academic advisor.

I’m headed to Memphis in March! I submitted a proposal for the 2025 NACADA Region 3 & 7 Conference. Got word on Thursday it got accepted! I am so pumped for this conference! PS…I am also on the conference committee and as a committee member, it’s going to be so much fun!

Come check us out from 11-1 in the HCOA Library the morning for our “The Advisors Are In” event! Getting those last minute questions answered before registration begins next week! @

I attended A Matador Evening at the Merket Alumni Center this evening. One of my advisees, Hector Lopez, was honored with the Brent Ross Fearless Champion Award. I am very proud of him and honored to be able to celebrate with him this evening. @TTUAlumniAssoc @TTUHCOA

Last week I completed the AI in Academic Advising certificate through the TTU’s Office for Advising Excellence. It’s an honor to be in the first group and has been a game changer for me as an academic advisor. Next up-Holistic Advising certificate program.

Texas Tech Preview Day! HCOA had a blast visiting with future Red Raiders! ❤️👆🔥 #WreckEm

Family Day Weekend! What an amazing day in the Huckabee College of Architecture. Our HCOA families got to experience what it is like to be a student with a mini lecture from Dr. Ellis and an HCOA Tower Build which included presenting their tower for review and critique. ❤️⭐️🙂
