Congrats to Jordan Fisher and Tyree Reed for earning 1st team VVAL All-League honors and Riley Carlos for earning 2nd team. Reed was also voted as MVP of the VVAL’s inaugural season! Well deserved!

Casual shooting has NO PURPOSE. Those reps WILL NOT carry over to game makes! You must practice game speed shots to produce in game makes!

Scott Van Pelt is right on the money about parents who are angry about Tom Izzo holding players accountable:
“... You should prepare your kids for the path, not the path for your kids. You cannot eliminate every challenge or adversity they might face.” 💯

Michael Jordan says: "Stats that matter to me is games that we win and rings that you collect."
- If i'd play for the stats i'd never retire in 1993? or i'd still be chasing Kareem A. Jabbar's scoring lead. That doesn't drive me. It's all about winning championships and winning.

How can you be upset when you miss a shot, but not when your player scores on you? @5starbasketball

Parents, please stop screaming ‘SHOOT IT!’
1. Shooting should be a decision, not a reaction 🏀
2. Instructions should only come from the coach 🗣
3. Children can only process a limited amount of info at a time 🤪
4. You are undermining their ability to make decisions 🤦🏼♂️

Great teams celebrate each others' success. The best teams are the ones where the entire bench is up cheering on the 5 on the court.
Senior Night!!! Wolves beat Sonoma 67-50. Finish VVAL play in 2nd place with a record of 8-4 and 13-13 overall.

Great players don't run away from challenging environments, they embrace them and use them to grow as a player and as a person. Too often people try to escape difficult or uncomfortable environments. Always embrace competition.
Congrats to AC hoops alum, 3x All League and County Basketball Player of the Year Gamon Howard, on furthering education and football career at UNLV. The ultimate competitor!
