I consolidated the public NIL/rev-share commitments or declarations made by schools in the American Conference as we head into 2026.
I wrote about this in today's Substack post (no paywalls) so you can keep tabs on your rivals across the conference. 😅

The evidence that the American Conference was on par with the ACC this year continues to pile up.

UTSA Head Coach Jeff Traylor is one of the great coaches at developing talent but is also speaking out on the system of college football! Have so much respect for him! We need more coaches like him in college football to save our game!

I love @DrewMestemaker. Wish he’d stay. But it’s a business and I get it. Get the money while you can!
But what cracks me up is how the consensus is that the G5 is garbage and we don’t play anybody, yet EVERYONE is salivating over our QB.

North Texas star QB Drew Mestemaker is considered likely to enter the transfer portal, sources tell @mzenitz and me for @CBSSports. A final decision is not expected until after UNT's bowl game.
Mestemaker led the FBS with 4,129 passing yards this year.

The American Conference this season was DEEP.
Tulane 11-2 CFP team
North Texas 11-2
Navy 9-2
USF 9-3 (Beat Boise St & UF)
ECU 8-4
Memphis 8-4
UTSA (Beat Tulane & ECU)
Temple improved significantly as well.
Beat up each other a lot. One of the deepest G5 conferences ever

SEC dudes will podcast all day about how the AAC should be relegated to a different playoff on ESPN 8: The Ocho and then pay $100M to have our coaches fix their programs
AC Lighthouse retweeted
Weird post from our conference but the point still stands. AAC is the top G6 conference still and should control the 5th CFP conference spot every year. MWC 2.0 next year won’t change that
A league overflowing with talent that produces winners.
Thank you, coaches! 👏
