Jordan Watkins had two crucial plays where he failed to complete the catch process, including one that easily could’ve been a TD.
That said, I agree there’s definitely potential with Watkins.
After staying in Atlanta for most of October, the Falcons are going to have a tougher schedule in November.

Hear me out. There’s a concerning pattern with Michael Penix Jr. when the Falcons face short weeks or unfavorable travel logistics….
-2025 Week 3: Dominate Minnesota on SNF → Travel to Carolina → Shut out 30-0. Penix has his worst game as a pro.
-2025 Week 6: Dominate Buffalo on MNF → Travel to SF for SNF → Lose 20-10. Penix injured, misses next game.
-2025 Week 11: OT loss to Indy in Germany → Fly back to Atlanta to face Carolina → Penix tears his ACL in the 2nd half, out for the season.
• 2026 Week 5: Dominate New Orleans on MNF → Host Baltimore on SNF → OT loss. Penix injured, can’t finish.
Michael Penix and Drew Lock don’t belong in the same conversation.
Lock has a career TD to INT ratio of 1.4:1. Penix is currently at 3:1.
He did great filling in for Sam for a couple of games, but aside from there is absolutely no argument of favoring him over Penix.
