Road to Karachi Marathon 2027 continues. 5.52km | 34:50 | 6:18/km | Avg HR 144 bpm. Started at 6:34/km, hit 6:01 in km 3, then maintained a steady rhythm. The numbers help assess pacing; consistency is what builds endurance. From struggling to run a minute to completing marathons, I've learned that progress takes patience. PEOPLE BLAME the devil for everything rather than take responsibility for their choices. Prayer is good, but accountability is necessary, you can’t pray away every CONSEQUENCE of your own decisions.

Love isn’t just about what you offer, it’s about how your partner experiences it. You can tick every box and still leave someone feeling unloved, actions must translate into emotional connection

She is a professional, a colleague, a wife, and perhaps a mother. Every morning, she gets ready for work, manages household responsibilities, meets deadlines, and contributes to her organisation’s success. She works hard throughout the day, but when she returns home, her second shift begins. While her male colleagues return home and relax, she starts another round of responsibilities. She plans meals, manages groceries, cares for children, supports family members, and remembers all the little things that keep a household running. And this is not just her story. It reflects the experience of millions of working women. India’s Time Use Survey 2024 highlighted a striking reality that marriage changes women’s lives far more dramatically than men’s when it comes to domestic work. According to the survey, married women spend an average of 388 minutes a day on domestic work, compared with 47 minutes for married men. Women also spend significantly more time managing meals, caring for children, and maintaining their homes. The consequences go beyond exhaustion. Women find no time to rest, pursue further education, develop professional skills, or compete for career opportunities. Their ambitions do not necessarily disappear after marriage, but the time and energy available to pursue them shrink. The irony is that these women are expected to perform just as well at work while carrying a disproportionately larger share of responsibilities at home. So, what needs to change? We need to stop treating household work as a woman’s natural responsibility and start recognising it as a shared one. This is where men need to play their roles and contribute. Workplaces should acknowledge that employee well-being and career progression are also influenced by responsibilities beyond the office. Women should also be supported in pursuing their ambitions without being made to feel guilty for doing so. True equality is not achieved simply by allowing women to work. It is achieved when they have an equal opportunity to grow, lead, rest, and live, because behind every woman who seems to manage everything is often a woman who is carrying more than her fair share.

Administrative bottlenecks are among the leading drivers of employee frustration, disengagement, and burnout in workplaces. When workers spend more time navigating internal systems than performing their core duties, it creates a systemic drag on both morale and productivity.
An employee is given a difficult task. They get to work, solve problems, and deliver results. Give them twice the workload, and they may still find a way to get it done. But then something changes. A simple problem requires multiple levels of sign-off, and lengthy process. A 10-minute decision takes months. When explaining a decision takes longer than making it, something is wrong. Slowly, frustration builds. Not because the work is too much, but because every step comes with unnecessary hurdles. Every hour spent waiting is time lost. Every extra layer of process takes energy away from the work that actually matters. A good employee don’t just need fewer tasks. They need the freedom to act. Give them responsibility, trust their judgment, and let them do their job. Because sometimes, you don’t lose an employee to a heavy workload. You lose them by making simple things unnecessarily difficult.

Pakistan’s match-winners Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan opened up on their dramatic one-wicket win over England. “I always believed we could win this match,” said Rauf, who described Shadab’s batting as “world class”. Shadab revealed: “Haris insisted that we take the review. I was quite disappointed at that time.”

Drama ended with Shadab finding a permanent place in the team.
Pure DRAMA in #PAKvsENG Shadab thought he is out on 97. But he is not. Pakistan need 20 off 30 balls Half of the crowd already left the stadium 15 overs ago thinking its over.

🚨🚨 #Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM) has urged Prime Minister @CMShehbaz to review the draft Auto Policy 2026-31, warning that proposed tariff reductions on completely built-up vehicles, concessions for new-energy vehicles and lower duties on auto parts could undermine domestic manufacturing and employment. In a letter dated October 23, PAAPAM Chairman Abdul Rehman Aizaz cited more than 1,200 companies, 1.5 million jobs, $1.8 billion in annual import substitution and Rs700 billion worth of locally manufactured components supplied to assemblers. tribune.com.pk/story/2636623…

An employee once joined a company full of hope, inspired by its values, promises, and growth opportunities. Over time, what truly mattered was not the words on the walls, but how they were treated every day. When the day came to leave, they carried those experiences with them. A good workplace is remembered for its respect, support, and opportunities to grow. Because people may forget what a company promised, but they never forget how it made them feel.
Imagine two employees leaving their organizations. One remembers a place that helped them grow, while the other remembers a place they were eager to escape. Both experiences become part of their former employers’ reputations. Workplace culture is not created through policies, presentations, or slogans alone. It grows through small, consistent acts of kindness, fairness, and respect. A great organization is not just one people want to join, but one they are proud to have been part of.
