Going to stay out of the Man City discourse until I’ve gained some proper insight from Jay Bothroyd and Roman Kemp.

…Today is a day I never wanted to see. I am absolutely heartbroken to hear of the passing of Kevin Keegan. Kevin wasn’t just a football manager to me—he was the man who introduced me to the Premier League and made me fall in love with the beautiful city of Newcastle…

Ever feel like you're watching a different sport? Morgan Rogers is a decent player but £117m?! I can't get my head around that. And upwardly mobile, brilliantly managed #avfc forced to sell him because of arbitrary UEFA financial rules that favour the chaos of #cfc, who have had several strategies, failed managers and finished 13 points and 6 places lower than them. How is anyone supposed to compete long-term when this is going on? The game at this level is broken

Terrible about that Ryanair flight. A window blew out (£7 fresh air), a man’s head was sucked outside the plane (£19 scenic view), oxygen masks deployed (£15) and they landed back in Greece (£450 holiday extension). Everyone’s safe though (£70 wellness fee) so that’s good.

Yeah, you think this is hot but you should have been there in 1976. I saw the postman spontaneously combust on our step at 7am. We made jam from ladybirds. Water evaporated when you turned the tap on. Did we whinge? No. We slathered ourselves in lard and played out for 16 hours.

There should be a scene in the next Mission Impossible where Tom Cruise makes a sandwich so quickly that you don't see the bread move.

Nick Hedges was hired by housing charity Shelter to travel round England and Scotland documenting the lives of families living in almost nineteenth century slum-like conditions. Not dissimilar to how I grew up in Manchester. Profound images.

Oooh getting to that 'Lockdown Light' time year. Lovely sunshine in the mornings pouring in the windows. Getting 30 cans dropped off at the house every other day. Golden memories.
