Amedspor is from Diyarbakir — 1,400 kilometers (869 miles) southeast of Istanbul and the largest Kurdish-majority city in the country. In the view of many Kurds, it is the informal capital of Kurdistan, a geo-cultural region and stateless nation in West Asia.

Surprise surprise.
Turkish bank “facilitated tens of millions of dollars’ worth of transactions for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Qods Force and provide the Iranian regime with key correspondent banking access that allows it to move its funds internationally.”
This bank is heavily tied to the Erdogan regime, the same guy we apparently want to give F-35 jets too.
As I’ve been repeatedly saying—Turkey works hand in hand with the Iranian regime and has been key to helping the mullahs survive.
Time to give Turkey the boot 🥾 from NATO.
Today, as part of Operation Economic Outcast, Treasury severed the Iranian regime’s critical financial lifelines in Türkiye. The Office of Foreign Assets Control designated Türkiye-based Golden Global Bank and its subsidiaries, which have facilitated tens of millions of dollars’ worth of transactions for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Qods Force and provide the Iranian regime with key correspondent banking access that allows it to move its funds internationally.

Diliman argued that this is the wrong strategy and that the U.S. should continue supporting the Kurds just as they’ve had America’s back for decades in the Middle East.

Diliman Abdulkader on Tom Barrack: "If you didn't know who he was, you'd think he represents Turkey." 🇹🇷
He sees the Middle East as a business deal. But he ignores real historical grievances.
That's not how the region works.
