Apex Friendship QB Ethan McGarrigan led a dominant win by the Patriots Friday night. McGarrigan put together one of the most efficient performances we've even seen on our broadcasts, posting an 80% completion percentage, 276 total yards, and 2 touchdowns. @jaysonny91 @afpatriotfb

Incredible concentration by Apex Friendship's Cam Hull to reel in this pass in traffic for a wild touchdown @AFPatriotFB @jaysonny91 @PatrickKinas #fridaynightrivals

There's a first for everything, and Friday Night Rivals has never seen a shuffle pass travel this far. Great improvisation by Apex Friendship's Ethan McGarrigan and the scrambling flip out to Shondell Smith @AFPatriotFB @PatrickKinas @jaysonny91

APEX, N.C. -- The lead had been cut to four in the fourth quarter. The momentum was shifting. Pressure mounted on Apex Friendship to answer as Jordan had found its rhythm offensively after a rocky start.
But this was Michael Mallard's night.
The Friendship junior running back dashed 80 yards on the first play of the next drive, then 27 yards to paydirt just a few plays into the following one, and the Patriots ran away -- literally -- with a 32-20 victory over Jordan in the HighSchoolOT Game of the Week presented by Alpaca Peruvian Chicken.
