Wow. Britain accounted for 31% of all foreign investment in Germany in 2025, dwarfing the contributions of China and the United States. Shows those deeper Anglo-German defence ties have a much wider foundation.
UK investment to Germany rocketed by 284% in 2025.
With investments totalling €26 billion, the UK was Germany's biggest foreign investor, accounting for 31% of all foreign investment.
Germany is attractive to foreign companies, with foreign investment up 50% to €86 billion.

In a few minutes, the #IslamicRepublic is poised to double fuel prices - amid fears of triggering renewed unrest. For years now, Iran's authorities had refrained from doing so, despite economic urgency.
Iran will double the price of gasoline bought outside subsidized quotas from Tuesday, pushing ahead with a politically sensitive increase as households struggle with rising prices and the country faces fuel shortages.
