Ss are truly impressing us with the collaboration, planning & execution of their Catapult designs. 7s are working hard to test, record data, and modify our designs for our final competition. But...who will get over "the wall"?! @DesmondHDSB @Ms_SCrawford @MrJolly07469254
7s have been engaging with art, images, and storytelling as we deepen our learning in relation to Indigenous rights and the impact humans have on the land, it's peoples, and all living things. Thank you @vanderwalc @MrsTPhil for your support & guidance! @DesmondHDSB
It was a true privilege to listen to Dr. Jean Augustine speak, and simply - to be in her presence. A feeling that was felt by both staff and students @DesmondHDSB.
During #BlackHistoryMonth, @DesmondHDSB hosted a visit from Dr. Jean Augustine, the first African-Canadian woman to be elected to Canada's House of Commons. She brought a message of inspiration, hope and inclusivity.
See what Dr. Augustine hoped everyone learned from her visit.
