दिल्ली सरकार के अधीन DUSIB में एक बार फिर भ्रष्टाचार के आरोपों ने व्यवस्था पर गंभीर सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं।
@CBIHeadquarters ने @dusibdelhi के सीमापुरी कार्यालय से जुड़े Executive Engineer वेदपाल मीणा को एक लाख रुपए की रिश्वत लेते हुए गिरफ्तार किया है।
मामला नंद नगरी, वजीराबाद रोड स्थित रामलीला मैदान के आवंटन से जुड़ा है।
आरोप है कि मैदान आवंटित करने के बदले उससे 2.50 लाख की रिश्वत मांगी गई थी। कथित तौर पर ₹1 लाख पहली किस्त के रूप में तय हुए।
17 सितंबर को शिकायत मिलने के बाद CBI ने सत्यापन किया और 19 सितंबर को ट्रैप ऑपरेशन किया।
एजेंसी के अनुसार वेदपाल मीणा को 1 लाख की कथित रिश्वत लेते हुए पकड़ा गया।
इसके बाद उनके आवास पर तलाशी ली गई, जहां करीब 41 लाख नकद बरामद करने की बात कही जा रही है।
अब सबसे बड़ा सवाल है कि 41 लाख नकद कहां से आए?
क्या इसका किसी सरकारी कामकाज या कथित रिश्वत नेटवर्क से कोई संबंध है?
यह पहला मामला भी नहीं है जब DUSIB से जुड़ा कोई अधिकारी CBI की भ्रष्टाचार जांच के घेरे में आया हो।
नवंबर 2024 में DUSIB के तत्कालीन Legal Officer विजय कुमार मग्गो पर दो दुकानों को सील से मुक्त कराने के बदले ₹40 लाख की कथित रिश्वत मांगने का मामला सामने आया था।
CBI ने उस मामले में ₹5 लाख की कथित पहली किस्त लेते हुए गिरफ्तारी की थी और बाद में उनके परिसर से लगभग ₹3.79 करोड़ नकद बरामद होने की जानकारी दी थी।
1 लाख की कथित रिश्वत से लेकर घर में मिले 41 लाख नकद तक अब निगाह CBI की जांच पर है कि इस पूरे मामले की असली तस्वीर क्या है?
और क्या जांच का दायरा अन्य अधिकारियों या लेन-देन तक पहुंचता है।

Yesterday, a complaint was received through social media platform X (formerly Twitter) from Agrim Humesha Welfare Foundation against vehicle bearing registration number DL5CJ5974, alleging that the owner/driver was using the vehicle as a school cab without valid documents and that the insurance of the vehicle had expired.
Upon receipt of the complaint, the matter was assigned to SI Shamsher Singh, 4113/D, for verification of the facts and for taking legal action as per the relevant provisions of law.
During verification, the said vehicle was found being driven without a seat belt. Further inquiry revealed that the allegations were found to be true, as the vehicle did not have valid insurance and was being used as a school cab.
Accordingly, Challan No. DL293650260908085309 was issued for violations under Sections 194-B, 146/196 and 39/192 of the Motor Vehicles Act, for driving without a seat belt, driving without valid insurance and violation relating to the Registration Certificate (RC), respectively.

Refer to the attached video — the ongoing work being executed under DMRC near boundary wall, Metro Line Dwarka to Metro Yard (opposite Govt. Senior Secondary Co-ed School, Sector 16A, Dwarka, New Delhi-78) is clearly substandard and poorly graded.

PPC (Portland Pozzolana Cement) is being used instead of mandatory OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement) as per RR norms. Also, Jhama (4th class) bricks are being used in place of first-class bricks, which is not suitable for any superstructure work.
The overall workmanship appears unprofessional and unethical. Request @OfficialDMRC to kindly inspect the site and ensure proper reconstruction after demolition of the defective work.
