Dirk Nowitzki shot 41% in the finals against the Heat.
No one cares about efficiency because we all know it doesn’t matter that much especially when you consider eras.
But Kobe is the only one they punish for it. Why? Because it works. Because the kids don’t understand that FG% used to be understood as a small footnote, not the major piece of the pie.
Not to mention, if Dirk was worried about his efficiency and not taking those tough shots, he would have lost that series. And would have scored 8 points in a game or even scored 2 points in 4th quarters in the series because he was scared to shoot.
Real lions don’t care about that efficiency especially come playoff time. Shoot and win dammit.

Larry Bird won 3 rings with an extremely strong supporting cast.
Kobe won 3 with Shaq. Then left and won two more back to back with a good team, but no where near the teams Bird had. Yet, the media has Bird over Kobe everytime.
Kobe gets no longevity love, 4th most time in points while having a coach that would ‘t even play him early on and his late prime robbed. Scored 81 points in one damn game, 62 and outscored a Finals team by himself in 3 quarters. Has all of them accolades. 11 time All NBA, 2nd all time, did that in a strong and talented league man. 12 time all defense. A scoring machine bruh. 122 40 point games. There’s so much more man. So much he racked up. So many clutch moments. So many more accolades and stats that stack and stack. But Kobe don’t get the stat edge, the accolade edge, the championship edge EVEN THOUGH he has more than many they put on front of him.
I’m not picking on Larry Bird. I’m just sayin, the bias is crazy.
I just don’t get it. Y’all lame man.

Teachers shape destinies! Will Smith’s 10th-grade teacher, Ms. Brown, called him “Prince Charming” — a name that later inspired The Fresh Prince. A teacher’s words can change a life! Let this be a reminder to uplift, inspire, and recognize the greatness in our youth.

Curious if the end of “Inside The NBA” also means the end of Charles Barkley doing March Madness. If so, it was worth it for this clip alone:

What's funny is Kobe was the only one up here who wasn't the first option on offense, and he did this in the dead ball era...

I will admit this after having a Kendrick bias:
If Drake sent direct SHOTS at KDOT on a feature... and Kendrick responded with 2 back to back disses calling him out.... we'd fasho be killing Drake for his silence. I can 100% admit that. 🤝🏾
