I’m happy to announce that I’m taking a new position as sports media lab manager at BYU. Looking forward to working with the next generation of sports storytellers and helping them chase their dreams. My sports writing career began at The Universe — and now I’m returning. (2/2)

Much respect and credit to Utah for the 28-20 win over BYU.
BYU outgained the Utes 391-330, but Utah deserved to win by playing more cleanly, and dominating the second half.
Turnovers:
BYU 4
Utah 2
Penalties
BYU 11-80 yds
Utah 4-19 yds
2nd half BYU drives:
1. INT
2. 3 plays 0 yds, punt
3. 3 plays 0 yds, punt
4. INT
5. INT
There is a lot of football to be played, and BYU is still in the hunt. But today belongs to the Utes. They earned it.

When your team loses early on Saturday, it really makes the rest of college football Saturday less enjoyable to watch.

Utah 28, BYU 20...
- Utah (9-0) in great shape for CFP even with a loss (in Tucson or CCG)
- BYU (7-2) in big trouble, probably needs to win out despite Notre Dame win
- Big 12 officials: not a story
- Bachmeier: 4 INTs

Utah picks off Bear Bachmeier for a fourth time to seal a huge 28-20 Holy War win.
The 9-0 Utes are in great shape for CFP.
7-2 BYU is alive but may need some help to get into the Big 12 title game.

The Holy War is drunk (on non-alcoholic beer). 34 points, 3 turnovers. BYU, down 14-0 early, leading Utah 20-14 at the half

Utah got off to the quick start, but it's been all BYU since to go up 20-14.
Bear Bachmeier huge day so far.
Holy War living up to the hype.

Very RARE AIR last night for Bear Bachmeier 🤯
He’s the FIRST FBS player in the past 30 years to throw, catch, and rush for TD against an AP TOP 5 opponent in the same game
