Impressive win for Detroit without Jalen Duren, Ausar Thompson, and Isaiah Joe.
The Detroit Pistons are 3-0.
Not sure why Cade is rushing into offense on the play that results in John Collins and Tyrese Maxey colliding. No incentive to do so.
Ron Holland’s 0-7. He just missed a dunk that allowed Philly to get out in transition for an easy two.
Brutal end to the half for Detroit, as Philly goes on a 9-0 run. A mix of bad turnovers and unimpressive defense.
Quickly saw a 21-point lead turn into a 12-point one.
Cade Cunningham with 15 points, 7 rebounds. John Collins has 12 points and 8 rebounds.
JB doesn’t seem too inclined to play Tolu Smith, even without Jalen Duren.
He’s rotated between Paul Reed and John Collins at the 5 so far in the first half.
Not sure that’s sustainable over a several week period without Duren, but that’s what we’ve seen so far.

#Pistons Ausar Thompson did not participate in shootaround this morning.
Steve Kerr is hilarious. After Golden State’s third game of the season, in which they load managed Curry/Green/Horford/Podz, he gets asked a positively-phrased question about Yaxel’s impact.
Rather than speak highly of him, he throws his rookie under the bus and spends the bulk of his minute long answer critiquing him.
Maybe don’t have all your top players take a night off less than a week into the season and throw said rookie out there with end of bench and two-way players.
Jalen Duren will be re-evaluated in two weeks after suffering a right hamstring strain against the Miami Heat on Friday.
Brutal loss to Detroit’s center rotation only two games into the season.
It is game 3 of the NBA season for the Golden State Warriors and they are pulling this nonsense.
The NBA should fine the franchise a gajillion dollars.
Welp, shame on Beasley. After all the social media posting about being innocent, too. His NBA career is over, as it should be.
A sad way for this to end considering Beasley was on the cusp of signing a $40 million deal with Detroit prior to the investigation.
Former NBA player Malik Beasley is negotiating a plea agreement with Department of Justice lawyers over his alleged role in a bribery and betting scheme, one of his attorneys confirmed Saturday. spr.ly/6019BHdyFt
