Please help us congratulate Class 21 of the Highlands Ranch Law Enforcement Training Academy! Douglas County is proud to welcome 12 new deputies to the Sheriff’s Office following the graduation of Class 21. This accomplishment represents months of commitment, discipline, and service-driven determination. We also extend our congratulations to the newest officers joining the Littleton, Lone Tree, Castle Rock, Greenwood Village, and Parker Police Departments. Your communities are stronger and safer because of your dedication to stepping into this profession. During the ceremony, Sheriff Weekly delivered a powerful message to the graduates: “You have a responsibility to raise the bar for our profession, and to do the job right. You must represent your agencies at the highest level. You must learn every single day you come to work—whether it’s in the classroom, on a call for service, or in the courtroom. Perfect your craft. Train… like your life depends on it. Because it does." To every new deputy and officer: welcome to the profession. Your service matters. Your commitment matters. And your communities stand behind you as you begin this important and honorable path.
