Replying to @bucks_herald
This is a misleading article I must correct as Chairman of the meeting. A senior staff scheme exists - but senior staff themselves recommended to cllrs not to pay it. It’s a reqt to consider it. This article implies cllrs overturned bonuses officers wanted. That did not happen.

Every summer we see the tragic cases of young people during the holiday season getting into difficulty in water - far too often ending in the loss of loved ones #WorldDrowningPreventionDay #watersafety #BFRS bbc.com/future/article/20230…

How the colour of your swimsuit can save your life

Colours change to a surprising degree when submerged underwater, so what you and your children wear in the water can make a difference in an emergency.

If you’re out and about, bin your litter or take it home. Glass and reflective items can cause fires if left lying around on a sunny day. Find out more about how you can help prevent wildfires: nfcc.org.uk/our-services/cam… #WildfireAware
