added a rental cost planner and per-key compute caps to silicon.
compare provider estimates for your gpu count and runtime, then give each tool its own budget and pause switch.
gpu movers and background price alerts are there too.

Gonna work on a new batch of updates for silicon, i'm still active if anyone has a question or has issues using the platform.

new updates on $silicon @SiliconGPU
added two things to silicon i wanted to use myself.
gpu rental price movers with the source receipts behind each change. and alerts that keep watching after i close the tab.
i spend enough time staring at tabs already.

Needed to write this article to explain a bit on how our GPU-rental terminal works.
btw: $SILICON holder tools are live.

Also one more thing: to everyone who's wondering yes i'm not hacked.
And i'm actively working on @SiliconGPU which is where i'll be dedicated on.
one thesis to test: newer hardware puts pressure on h100 rents.
silicon lets you record that view over 7, 14 or 30 days. the entry terms stay fixed, and the paper result uses later provider observations.
btw FWIW: just opened my dms so you guys can slide me any good updates suggestions if they're decent i'll include them into silicon.

Also wanted to thank again @robinhanson & @maharshii who been helping me out in building out the platform a bit.
Would've been a struggle without them both

I don't understand the hype behind @orbiodotso robinhood:0xaa07a0e9209e16ac99708c3ec70159c6ef3128a3
there are so many projects that come in claiming to be the next venice only to go into irrelevance few months later.
its flat / down on all metrics.
why are we valuing it at $100m?
is anyone using that inference. like please tell me. because from the metrics i can say i alone use more inference than they are claiming
just because its on robinhood or KOLs pushing it doesn't change the picture in the long term
all these AI projects that are trading at such a high valuation makes me more bullish on $IMD which is not even at $50m mcap
silicon is now open source.
i've pushed the frontend, backend and contracts to github. you can follow how gpu rental prices feed into the app and how settlement works.
