I always found this natural network fascinating, beautiful, and bursting with hidden metaphorical potential.
But it's practical too! I once planned to make my own mycelium leather (but only got as far as growing mushrooms under my bed), and was instantly enamoured by mycelium architecture. One day we might all be at home IN the mycelium...!
