This summer, The KU Positive Psychotherapy Clinic is offering free online therapy for adults living in Kansas. To date we have provided over 2000 hours of free therapy. If you know anyone that could use some extra support, please share this with them.

Congratulations to AMPP Lab’s Julia Leonard on her successful dissertation defense. Her findings suggest that strength-inclusive culturally centered diagnostic language using DICE-PM promoted therapist hope for the client and perceived capacity to build the therapeutic alliance.
Congratulations to AMPP Lab members Lauren, Jared, and Hannah on their successful dissertation defenses! Their research explored religious trauma, men’s friendships, and men’s self-compassion.

This week I had the privilege of traveling to San Diego to host a CE workshop about strength-based approaches to working with boys and men at the @APA @SPSMM_D51 8th Conference on the Psychology of Boys and Men.
