Preliminary Q3 2026 data shows a preowned business aircraft market moving in different directions by segment.
Heavy jets remain in tight supply: 5.1% of the fleet is for sale, compared with a 10-year average of 7.0%. Year-to-date transactions are up 7.3%, and median values have risen 14%. Super-midsize jet sales are up 11.7% year to date, with inventory up 11.4%.
Other segments saw softer activity. Q3 transactions fell 26% for light jets and 47% for turboprops compared with Q3 2025. Medium-jet year-to-date sales are running nearly 6% behind 2025.
These figures are preliminary as additional Q3 data comes in.
