We have a patient here who is getting a bone marrow transplant…for sickle cell!!! They’re gonna be sickle cell free after this….and as far as i know this is the only “cure” for it right now. Science is fucking amazing.

My daddy never yelled at me once in life . He lived an hour away but if I called with car troubles or issues fishing he’d be there without me even asking . When I gave birth he’d come into the room and ask about me before anything else and immediately got me food .
