the text is from an archival document reading "Gay Archives: support Melbourne Gay Archives group A group of Melbourne gay activists has established a gay archives and is in need of any material such as articles, newspaper clippings, badges, etc., which may be of historical importance. Also any scientific articles. You can help... in developing a permanent and detailed record of our gay history by sending anything you have, whether you regard it as important or not, to Gay Archives" the AQuA logo obscures the address

Just renewed my membership for the Australian Queer Archives (AQuA)! A volunteer ran archives based in Victoria that do fantastic (and very gay) work preserving our queer history!! Let’s keep our unique LGBTQA+ histories safe into the future. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🩷🤍🩵 @AQuArchive – at Sydney, New South Wales

We have regretfully decided to cancel tomorrow's Footscray Queer History Walk. Tomorrow afternoon's weather forecast is for temperatures up to 35° and a UV index of 11. We do not believe we can provide a safe event under these conditions.
