Darkrooms use a red lamp because black-and-white paper only reacts to blue and green light. The lamp is called a safelight, and this film is named after it. Warm parts of a photo print red, cool parts print dark blue. Try it → arkinfra.red

This is how ARK Infrared works. It estimates the infrared light in a photo and prints it like infrared film: bright leaves, dark sky. The dial runs from 590 nm, where some visible light leaks in, to 850 nm — pure infrared. Try it → arkinfra.red

Moodboards are one of the worst things for creativity. They give you a dopamine rush before the work has even started, and they dull the mind. They can only work if a conscious effort is made to understand each reference and reflect on it. But for most designers, it's just an endless Pinterest slop-board. And moodboard should never be shown to the client under any circumstances. For the most part, moodboards are banned at ΛRK.

very simple metric but if you, your startup, or your project use the typeface "instrument", you are communicating clearly and effectively that you have nothing resembling what you refer to as "taste". You enjoy cheap simulacras of things you dont understand
