The group that did this has an affiliation with Harvard?
This looks like a violation ten ways of probably hundreds of Harvard CRADAs and other grants and contracts with the federal government. @DHSGenCounsel @PaulIngrassia
NEW: A leak of DHS records has exposed details of more than 41,000 employees and contractors, including workers’ cellphone numbers, ICE and CBP facility locations, and members of groups tied to wiretap programs, Palantir software, and xAI’s Grok chatbot. wired.com/story/massive-leak…
Someone is going to file a bar complaint against Claude at some point. Mark my words. Maybe an out of work DEI attorney.
I don’t understand how you can say “we don’t support a two state solution” (Israel only, no Palestine) and THEN have laws saying over 5 million within that supposed “one state” can’t vote (WB, East Jerusalem, Druze, Gaza)?
Nevermind saying the few that did vote stole an election?

Here is an English translation of the statement Flávio Bolsonaro just released:
I address the Brazilian people and the international community as the true president-elect of Brazil.
First of all, I would like to thank President Milei for his courage, sense of justice and respect for the law, and President Trump and the wonderful American people for welcoming me. This is a land of liberty and of brothers who share the same values as the good people of my country. President Trump is a great defender of freedom of expression.
On Sunday night, I watched in horror as electoral fraud unfolded before my eyes. The illegitimate and illegal actions of Lula’s former lawyer allowed a mathematical impossibility to become reality, with Lula gaining more than 10 million votes between the first and second rounds. A ruling by the Federal Supreme Court (STF), overriding the jurisdiction of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), extended voting at the last minute, and the order arrived only after the legal closing time, when the polls had already closed. Voters were subjected to different rules. So far, the TSE has confined itself to defending the extension of voting hours, without providing even a single credible answer. And these procedural violations are not the only problem. Throughout the campaign, there were abuses of political and economic power and use of the state apparatus in support of reelection. These are serious acts, expressly prohibited by law, that justify annulling the election of the Lula–Alckmin ticket.
The regime’s response to my challenge came swiftly. As if following a prearranged plan, seven minutes after this repugnant electoral fraud, the judge set the regime’s machinery of political persecution in motion. This judge is implicated in an enormous corruption scandal and directly named in the investigation he used to try to seize my passports. He would very likely be in prison had they not prevented me from taking office. He was legally disqualified from the outset and clearly lacks the impartiality required to initiate any judicial proceedings against me. His mere participation in the proceedings reveals the extent of the arbitrary and unlawful conduct underway.
It was not my intention to leave my homeland, but I know exactly where this is heading. This is the classic playbook for a coup d’état. The political persecution that began with my father, former president Jair Bolsonaro, and spread to thousands of other ordinary, patriotic Brazilians and even American citizens has a single objective: to silence anyone who disagrees with the regime operating outside the rule of law that has been established in Brazil through a Supreme Court captured by the Workers’ Party criminal organization.
To be clear, there is no arrest warrant against me, because I have committed no crime. What exists is a politically motivated witch hunt intended to make me a hostage and a target of blackmail to protect the corrupt Supreme Court justices from impeachment. Here is the persecution playbook: passport confiscation, an electronic ankle monitor, censorship, house arrest, a sham trial and, finally, a politically motivated conviction.
I will not subject my family to this, and my country does not deserve to suffer this international humiliation again. Faced with the political weaponization of Brazil’s justice system, I brought my family to the United States, where we are safe. Once again, I thank President Trump and the American government for welcoming us and giving us the legal protections we no longer have in Brazil.
I want to be clear: I did not flee Brazil; I left for Brazil’s sake. I left a regime operating outside the rule of law so I could be the leader my people deserve. Silenced, imprisoned and censored, as my father is, I could not provide that leadership, and we would be left at the mercy of the institutional theater of an emasculated opposition controlled by a Supreme Court full of the regime’s lackeys.

Cornyn gave us Judge Brown, bc they received her through the bipartisan Texas judicial nominating commission Cornyn proposed. Why did he propose it?
Because Obama’s attacks on the blue slip gave Cornyn the ability to find a way to include democrats rather than fight back.
All of this comes from Cornyn, aided and abetted by Marc Short who failed to demand ordinary process in Texas federal judicial noms.
Thanks to @jacq_thomsen for promptly notifying me about the email last Saturday.
Both my appeal and complaint are pending. I’m hopeful the Fifth Circuit will appropriately handle both.

Good to know the problem in Brasil is also the #NeverTrump ideological faction of the “center right” aligning with progressives.
Business plus progressivism proves the Frankfurt School very correct. Abortion, gay rights, stolen elections— all of it is constructed to serve international capital.
The Brazilian Supreme Court Judge revered by the Brazilian left (and now the American left for seizing Bolsonaro's passport), Alexandre de Moraes, comes from the extremist "law-and-order" faction of the Brazilian Right as well as its extreme pro-austerity neoliberal pro-banker wing.
Less than a decade ago, when Moraes was nominated to the Supreme Court, the Brazilian left branded him a white supremacist, a fascist and a leader of the right-wing coup government. One of Brazil's leading left-wing politicians (@GuilhermeBoulos) explicitly accused Moraes of having committed the worst crime against humanity that exists: "RACIST GENOCIDE," by deliberately murdering poor black people en masse while he was the Justice Secretary for São Paulo Governor Geraldo Alckmin (who himself spent years being called all the same names by the Brazilian left until Lula picked Alckmin as VP in 2022).
Then -- starting in 2019 -- Moraes began censoring, imprisoning and persecuting Lula's enemies and imprisoning his own critics, and was overnight transformed by the large Brazilian media and the left into the Savior of Brazilian Justice and Democracy. Only on the left can one transform from from *fascist and genocidal racist* to heroic guardian of justice in less than a decade. Also, Moraes' own corruption scandals make everyone else's seem trivial, yet his passport works just fine and he freely travels the world in great wealth that he and his family received from the corrupt billionaire banker responsible for Brazil's worst-ever banking collapse. Enjoy!
I’m not a libertarian but the idea that company domiciles are like bingo and tax receipts of a country have to do with either luck or “being nice” is hilarious.
“Oh dude we could be rich, let’s just ask a company to pay us taxes instead of the countries where they operate.”

Tonight, our media: “Netanyahu pulls huge upset, only six short— Bibi is the master!”
In a few weeks, our media: “Trump is one short— what a loser.”
With 53% of the vote counted, batches of votes from the Tel Aviv area are coming in. The NEtaynahu bloc now stands at 55 mandates, six short while the Eisenkot bloc stands at 50. The advantage for Eisenkot has shifted the parameters of the regressions, and the prediction now changes to 54 for the Eisenkot bloc, 53 for the Netanyahu bloc, and 13 for the Arab parties. Will this trend continue?
Not just USAID.
Weil’s salad days were in 2008-2009 when they got all the sweetheart bankruptcy work from all the chaos and cleanup Obama caused.
The Dems have a playbook— fund ppl to cause problems, put the company in receivership, and then appoint the special master / trustee to give the work OBO the company to your team as well. Then sell the assets cheap to your side.
In the past few weeks DHS comms has completely improved it’s amazing. Banger after banger strategically.
WATCH WHAT @60Minutes DIDN’T SHOW YOU.
Here’s the FULL, uncut interview with @DHSGenCounsel James Percival.
DC doesn’t need representation bc they pay back their patronage (low show / DEI entry level federal employment for example) with jury nullifying cases that Democrats don’t like.
Breaking news: A grand jury rejected the DOJ’s attempt to indict former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson for the account she gave lawmakers of President Trump’s actions during the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, according to people familiar with the matter. wapo.st/4jFAkbz
Was unaware William F Buckley advocated for a prisoner, got him a lawyer, and single handedly got him released, only for the guy to immediately kidnap a woman and very nearly knife her to death.
Criminal justice reform has a sterling conservative pedigree.

"The Trump administration lifted Magnitsky Act sanctions on de Moraes, his wife, and his holding company last December. They should be immediately reimposed."
Flavio Bolsonaro's passport was cancelled and he was forced to flee the country by Lula, Alexandre De Moraes, and the insane Brazilian regime.
His brother Eduardo has an arrest warrant out for lobbying the US. His father, Jair Bolsonaro is serving 27 years. Victims of political persecution, all of them.
It's time for the Brazilian left to face the full force of American diplomatic and economic sanctions until they stop acting like a banana republic.
The Trump administration lifted Magnitsky Act sanctions on de Moraes, his wife, and his holding company last December. They should be immediately reimposed.
Further, visa bans should be imposed on every government official who has touched the Bolsonaro investigations - and their families too.
Finally, Section 301 tariffs on Brazilian goods should be quadrupled.
The Brazilian regime should look carefully at what has happened to Venezuela and Cuba, and remember that this hemisphere belongs to the United States of America.

People have amnesia about Maine 2020. I don't.
Perhaps traders are remembering that Susan Collins often out runs polling by like 8 or 9 points.
If he wants to have a prayer at winning, Troy Jackson better have a big buffer in this week's polls -- if past is prologue ...

Nobody really wants universal principles. Samuel Sey's friends want him to remain in the country because he's their friend. I don't care either way re: him but this illustrates diasporas. It's not a one-off. They want all of their tribesmen in. It's why we need total moratorium.
