Apple Music named “Abracadabra” the best song of 2025, also placing “Garden of Eden” at #7 on their Best of 2025 playlist: “2025 was undeniably the year of Lady Gaga. It began with her appearance in a commercial during the Grammys, when Gaga teased a song that set the tone for her highly anticipated return and signaled that her seventh studio album MAYHEM was arriving soon. With its infectious and haunting chorus, "Abracadabra" cast a spell on 2025 and made it abundantly clear: Mother Monster was officially back. MAYHEM further solidified her status as a living legend as she returned to her pop roots and the sound that is so distinctly Gaga. During her world tour, The MAYHEM Ball, Gaga delivered a theatrical spectacle, once again showcasing that she is still very much one of the greatest performers of all time. And then there was her original track for Season 2 of Netflix's Wednesday. "The Dead Dance" played a key role in the show, in addition to becoming a perfect song for the spooky season. "I always want to be remembered for being a real artist and someone who cares so much," she told Apple Music's Zane Lowe.
