A productive session today at the Veterans Advisory and Pensions Committee SW Quarterly Meeting. Hugely informative briefs from DTS, VPPP and @ASDICnetwork.
The 13 regional VAPCs are a hugely valuable resource in supporting veterans and providing a conduit to @VeteransGovUK.

Did we tell you we have a new campaign manager? Here he is sharing flyers about our centre to raise awareness. When his dad comes in to see us he loves to play with the toy tank in the centre. If you want to donate here’s the link veteransupportcentre.org.uk/… #veterans #charity #home

Yesterday, @JohnnyMercerUK met with veterans and charities to discuss the challenges of homelessness in our veterans community.
No one should be homeless, not least our veterans. That's why we've launched an ÂŁ8.55m fund, and a dedicated pathway to end rough sleeping.

Today the U.K. formally commemorates - for the first time - the service and sacrifice of our Nuclear Test Veterans.
They sacrificed in those early atomic days in order that Britain could protect herself then and now.
Looking forward to seeing them @Nat_Mem_Arb today.
