#أسياد_للنقل_البحري و #فالي تستقبلان أول ناقلة "فالي ماكس" في العالم تعمل بتقنية الدفع بمساعدة الرياح الى ميناء صحار والمنطقة الحرة. وتعد "صحار ماكس، أول ناقلة من فئتها في العالم تعمل بتقنية الدفع بمساعدة الرياح، بقدرة إستيعابية تبلغ 400 ألف طن ومزودة بخمسة أشرعة دوارة طورتها شركة "أنيموي للتقنيات البحرية" للاستفادة من طاقة الرياح في دعم قوة الدفع، بما يسهم في خفض استهلاك الوقود والانبعاثات. وقد أظهرت نتائج تحليل مستقل للبيانات التشغيلية انخفاضًا في استهلاك وقود المحرك الرئيسي بنسبة تراوحت بين 14% و31% ، إلى جانب وفورات سنوية تجاوزت مليون دولار أمريكي خلال فترة تشغيل قاربت عامين. ويجسد هذا المشروع ثمرة التعاون أسياد للنقل البحري وفالي في توظيف التقنيات المبتكرة على عدد من السفن، لرفع كفاءة النقل البحري وخفض الانبعاثات، وتعزيز دور سلطنة عمان في منظومة التجارة العالمية. #AsyadShipping and #Vale welcomed Sohar Max on its first call to the Sultanate of Oman, delivering iron ore to Vale’s operations at Sohar Port and Freezone. Sohar Max is the world’s first Valemax to operate with wind-assisted propulsion technology. The 400,000 DWT ore carrier is fitted with five Rotor Sails developed by Anemoi Marine Technologies, which harness wind energy to generate additional thrust and reduce fuel consumption and emissions. Independent analysis of operational data has recorded reductions in main-engine fuel consumption ranging from 14% to 31%, alongside annual fuel-cost savings exceeding US$1 million in nearly two years. The project is part of the long-standing partnership between Asyad Shipping and Vale to deploy and test innovative technologies across a number of vessels, enabling greater maritime efficiency and lower emissions while reinforcing Oman’s position as a strategic hub along global trade and logistics routes.
