🕊️ To everyone who wished my dad a happy 91st birthday: I read him all the thought messages, and he was very surprised. We had a beautiful time and he actually said, "This is the best birthday I've ever had!" We had a cake and gifts, but he is in a nursing home battling Parkinson's, and it is a challenge. He is very courageous. Thank you for your prayers!! ❤️🔥🙏✝️🙌
I just discovered by accident tonight that the developer Carlos Gomez responded to my review of the Biblical Greek app. It's $2.99 a month, my biblingo is $30.00 (but you get more languages). I use both apps, and really like BG.

I may be asked to collect praise reports for my church, which is a small one but one where there are serious needs. Please pray that I will know how to proceed. Comments and advice will be read, thank you! 🙏

One day, the entire people of Israel will come to Yeshua and be saved forever.
Isaiah 45:17, 46:13 (NASB)
Israel has been saved by the LORD
With an everlasting salvation;
You will not be put to shame or humiliated
To all eternity...
I bring near My righteousness, it is not far off;
And My salvation will not delay.
And I will grant salvation in Zion,
And My glory for Israel.
Jude 24–25
Now to the One who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to bring you blameless before His glorious presence with great rejoicing—
to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, belong glory, majesty, might, and authority, before all time, and now, and for all the ages. Amen.

I saw a video a few days ago of the results. Literally 5 heads, without bodies, sitting next to each other on the ground. Another with someone buried to her neck and bludgeoned. Children clutching dead siblings. Disgusting, heinous and barbaric acts in the name of Islam.

🚨 ETHIOPIAN CHRISTIANS MOURN 60 MASSACRED IN DEADLY ISLAMIST ATTACKS
Ethiopia’s Orthodox Christian community mourns 60 innocent Christians killed in two attacks on October 20 and 24 in Oromia.
The Church condemned the “brutal and merciless massacres” and demanded protection for Christians and justice for the victims.

I wonder why the activists who care so much about innocent people dying rarely talk about this..

The Arab-Islamic slave trade began in the 7th century and didn't fully end until the early 20th century. Over those 1,300 years, an estimated 10 to 18 million Africans were taken from the continent, marched across the Sahara or shipped across the Indian Ocean. It outlasted the transatlantic slave trade by more than three centuries, and by some estimates moved more people overall.
THE PROCEDURE
A large share of the men taken were castrated, mainly to serve as eunuchs guarding harems, households, and royal courts. The operation was performed with primitive tools and little to no medical care. Mortality estimates vary, but most historians describe it as extremely high, with many accounts putting the death rate at over half.
THE RESULT
Enslaved women, unlike the men, frequently had children, often with the men who enslaved them. Surviving castrated men could not. Historians point to this as a central reason the African diaspora across the Middle East and North Africa is so much smaller today than in the Americas, despite a trade that ran for over a millennium. It wasn't only the men who died in the procedure or on the journey. It was every child who was never born after them.
WHAT'S LEFT
Small Afro-Arab communities still exist today in places like Iraq, Yemen, and the Gulf states, descended from those who survived. Compared to the millions taken over thirteen centuries, what remains is a fraction of what those numbers would suggest.

When I was Muslim, Surah 5:32 was my favorite verse to quote.
“Whoever kills a soul, it is as if he killed all of mankind.”
I put it in every debate. Every conversation about Islam and peace. It felt like the most beautiful verse in the Quran.
Then I read it slowly.
The verse doesn’t say Allah revealed this to Muhammad. It says: “We decreed upon the CHILDREN OF ISRAEL…”
Wait. Decreed where? When? I went looking.
Bro, then I found it.
Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:5. A rabbinic commentary on Cain and Abel, written down around 200 AD like four centuries before the Quran. Rabbis discussed why Genesis says Abel’s “bloods” (plural) cry out and concluded: whoever destroys one soul, it is as if he destroyed an entire world.
Insane that it was word for word, with the exact same context. Bro, the same Cain and Abel story it’s attached to in Surah 5.
What I thought was the most beautiful verse in the Quran turned out to be a rabbi’s classroom commentary...
Literally, that’s when the question changed for me. It went from “isn't this verse beautiful?” to: What the heck is a rabbinic homily doing inside a book that claims to be the eternal, uncreated speech of God?!
Because there are only two options. Either Allah quoted the rabbis. Or a man in Arabia heard Jewish teachers and repeated what they said...
The crazy part is, the Bible predicted men would do this. “I am against the prophets who steal my words from one another.” ( Jeremiah 23:30)
That was the start of my journey toward Christ. I stopped defending the borrowed word of the Quran.
I found the Living Word.
PRAISE MY KING JESUS CHRIST, I’M FREE!

A Nigerian Christian mother in Jos had an unfinished call with her only son last night.
This morning at the hospital, she found his body in the back of a truck.
He was among 7 killed in an attack by Fulani jihadists near a Christian orphanage outside Jos, the capital of Plateau State

For 300 years the Ottoman Turks were stealing Christian kids from their mothers. This was the most brutal thing humanity ever witnessed. They were waiting for women to birth, raise their kids, and then at the age of 8 were collecting them. The devsirme known as "collection of children" or "blood tax" or in Greek as "paidomazoma", was a systematic practice by the Ottoman Empire from the late 14th century until the mid-17th century, that forced the recruitment of young Christian boys, typically aged 8–18, from Balkan provinces as a form of tribute.
The Turkish envoy would appear in the villages and demand that all fathers present themselves before him with their sons. From these, he selected the best-built and strongest to become Janissaries. Initially, the Turks took children aged 6-7 years, and only one child per family. Later, however, recruitment extended to ages 8-10, and gradually the number of children per family increased, until it was possible for all male children to be taken.
Christians went so far as to marry off their boys at a young age or convert to the faith voluntarily to avoid the child levy. But even this was not always helpful, since the Turks paid little attention to such details. The child levy was perhaps the greatest wound for Christians during Turkish rule.
These boys were taken from their families, converted to Islam, and rigorously trained to serve in the empire's military, administrative, and bureaucratic roles. This created a loyal class of elite soldiers and officials who were dependent on the sultan rather than on hereditary Turkish aristocracy.
They were separated according to ability and could rise in rank based on merit. The most promising boys known as "inner boys", received elite education in Constantinople's Enderun School, covering warfare, administration, sciences, and Islamic theology.
Many became Janissaries, the empire's elite infantry corps, or rose to high positions like grand viziers, provincial governors, admirals, or financial bureaucrats.
We estimate the total number of Christian boys taken across the entire Ottoman Empire (primarily Eastern Europe aka Balkans) around 300.000 kids. From those kids at least 180.000 were Greek kids (over 300 years 1362-1648). It means more than the half of the total kids that were stolen were only Greek.
For example in 1540, a levy in the regions of Thessaly & Macedonia took 1.000 Greek boys in one season and in Chios (Greek island) 200 boys taken in 1567 alone. The peak was 5.000 kids/annual from Greece. A generational trauma, with thousands of Greek families losing sons every few years for centuries.
The system began under Sultan Murad I (1362–1389) and largely ended by 1648.
Greeks, as a major Christian population in the Ottoman Balkans, were heavily affected by the devsirme. After the fall of Constantinople in 1453, Ottoman control extended over most Greek lands, making Greek Orthodox families prime targets for recruitment.
On 28 February 1395, Archbishop Isidore Glabas of Thessaloniki denounced it in a speech as "paidomazoma" (child-gathering), describing the anguish of parents: "mothers scratching their cheeks in grief and fathers beating their breasts and the violent Islamization of children and their hard training in the use of dogs and falcons."
A 1550 Greek poem by Ioannes Axayiolis, appealed to Charles V of Germany to liberate the Christians from the Turks (for liberation from this "sorrow"). The text is found in the Codex Vaticanus Graecus of 1624.
In another account, the Roman Catholic bishop of Chios in 1646 writes to the director of the Catholic Greek Gymnasion of Rome asking the latter to accept Pavlos Omeros (lol my name literaly Pavlos Homeros too), a 12-year-old boy from Chios, to save him from the devshirme.
Once taken, boys were circumcised, renamed with Muslim names, and forbidden from contact with their families. They were raised as Muslims, effectively erasing their Greek cultural and religious identity to foster loyalty to the sultan. Historical records show Greek-origin devşirme boys rising to prominence, such as Mimar Sinan (chief architect of the Ottomans, possibly Greek) and several grand viziers like Ibrahim Edhem Pasha (from Chios).
The devshirme was the greatest wound inflicted on Hellenism during the period of Turkish tyranny. The children who were seized were considered definitively lost. In Epirus, in fact, on the first Sunday after the abduction, their parents would go to church dressed in black, where a funeral service was chanted. In this service, the names of the children were read aloud as if they were dead.
Now, I think you understand who the real ancestors of the Muslim Turks are and why they are afraid of DNA tests. Keep in mind that whole villages and cities in Anatolia were wholly Islamized, and they became Ottomans and Muslim Turks (from Christian Greeks, Armenians, etc.) in "one night." This is one of the many reasons Turkey is a paper nation, a sandcastle, a pseudo-nation without historical and genetic continuity.

It means sharing the gospel with urgency and persuasion as if every person has genuine free will to accept or reject Christ. Arminian theology holds that Christ's atonement is for all, God desires everyone to be saved, and prevenient grace enables a real response. So you preach indiscriminately, call for decisions, and treat the hearer's choice as decisive—rather than resting solely on God's prior election.
