I posted this on a founder parent GC and wanted to get a take on Twitter: What’s stopping you from having at least 3+ kids? I’ve been a single dad with full custody of two boys for over four years. I pay myself $60k/year in Saratoga, CA. My parents help once a week and cover work trips, but the day-to-day is on me. During that time, I also co-founded Make Sunsets, which made national news and was featured on The Daily Show. I want more kids, and the only thing stopping me is the right woman. But for most people in this chat you have the right person, right? I’m curious: is it money, childcare, career, wanting more freedom, or just feeling your family is complete? And no, this isn’t customer discovery. My ā€œsolutionā€ would be telling everyone to shut down their startup, get a FAANG job, and have more kids. I just want smart people making more kids, and I'm trying understand why you don't.

As a sales guy, I look at things as a funnel. It seems like humanity sucks at actually closing the deal. I’ve seen social media posts where guys get girls’ numbers or a follow on IG. Those guys are great BDRs—great at the top of the funnel. But for some reason, nobody knows how to close, aka make babies. Your ancestors figured it out. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be here. Now, so many people aren’t doing the same that it’s become an actual threat to society. If you’re actually reading this, I’ll be deeply sad if you don’t make at least three babies. I know this doesn’t look serious, but you’re probably hot, and someone out there would love to make babies with you. Please find each other. They’re really not that hard to raise. Your parents somehow kept you alive, right?

You put the penis in the vagina and you keep doing it until the white stuff in your penis comes out. Make sure when it's coming out, you the furthest inside her. Bonus if you know when she's fertile you increase your chances of making a baby. Repeat until she misses her period. Good luck and have fun making a beautiful family.

I think I know why TFR is actually low and people are too embarrassed to ask when they can't.
DAMN, this paper is good... ā— The last few seconds are worth watching. 'Blind Precise Assembly'. A paper demonstrating that robot joint encoders provide sufficient proprioceptive feedback for precise assembly tasks. Like what? Like peg insertion, gear meshing, and nut threading. But here is the beauty of it: with no cameras, tactile sensors, or object pose knowledge required!! Policies trained entirely in simulation using heavy randomization of geometries, poses, and contacts. Even more impressive šŸ‘‰ it achieves near-perfect success in sim and zero-shot real-world transfer for peg insertion at 73% success across diverse 3D-printed parts with tight clearances. Blind policies generalize better than matched visual policies to out-of-distribution parts while being slower on in-distribution ones; the work also releases mjfit, an open-source tool for fast, exact convex simulation of tight-tolerance assemblies in MuJoCo. This is MIT CSAIL researcher Antonia Bronars (@BronarsToni) final project of her PhD w/ co-first author Younghyo Park (@younghyo_park). For more details, check out their project website and their paper! šŸ“Œ website: younghyopark.me/blind-propri… arXiv: arxiv.org/abs/2610.23849 mjfit: github.com/younghyopark/mjfi… —— Weekly robotics and AI insights. Feels weird to post this, but stupid people seem to have breeding figured out. Meanwhile, I’d bet at least 80% of my followers don’t have kids. That’s a wild guess. I’ll run a poll later. Given some of the out-there stuff I’m known for, following me suggests you’re curious. Maybe even smart. The world needs more curious, smart people. Please find each other in the comments and make some curious and smart babies. For the greater good of the colony!

Unless you're @neal_wu 's brother. 😊
Palantir CEO Alex Karp says all smart people hide their intelligence: "One of the ways you make it to the top is you hide how smart you are." "Every single person who has shared how intelligent they are tells you how stupid they are."

To make this fair, you also have to give the beer equivalent that Scott drank to the models as well.

SoCal Friends, Going to be in your area this Monday (10/26) for factory tours with in-house manufacturing teams that are looking to automate their assembly line (press fitting, glueing, screw driving) know anyone I should talk to while I'm down there? Please and thank you.

With Elizabeth Holmes back in the spotlight, here’s my unpopular take: I’d rather have Tim Draper on my cap table than a VC whose conviction expires with the first bad headline. Hotmail. Skype. Tesla. SpaceX. @MakeSunsets. That’s part of the investment history we’re talking about. Venture capital runs on outliers. You can lose money on plenty of companies and still generate enormous returns because a few winners pay for the entire portfolio. Counting an investor’s misses tells you very little without counting the size of their wins. Theranos involved fraud, and Holmes deserved accountability. Calling it merely a startup that failed to ship would be dishonest. But Tim lost his investment and continued publicly defending her—even after her conviction. You can disagree with that judgment while recognizing that he was willing to take reputational heat for someone he backed. That matters to founders. Everyone advertises ā€œfounder friendly.ā€ I want to know who still answers when there’s no prestige left in knowing me. Someone who will tell me the hard truth, help me face the consequences, and stay in my corner. Before taking a VC’s money, talk to the founders whose companies failed. Find out what that loyalty actually looks like when it costs something.

Jacking off a day keeps the prostate cancer away.
Replying to @ASong408
And I'm not saying masterbating more. Just jack off enough where you don't gum up the plumbing and increase your chances of prostate cancer.

How do I know this? I was very Catholic in my college years and knew the canon lawyer that advised the Holy See. I asked him, is masterbation wrong? They cited the Harvard study saying that if you don't jack off, it's considered self harm because you are increasing the chances of killing yourself which is worse then spilling your seed.

Keep in mind, OJ Simpson died of prostate cancer and that guy probably released whenever he wanted to. Probably was jacking off while in a white Ford Bronco while getting chased by the police. The moral of the story here is, doesn't matter how popular you are and how many people love/hate you. Keep cranking 5 times week to keep the prostate cancer away.
